Funny bit of history with this Mech. Overall, I think this Mech will be a star player amongst players who want to like doing light to early heavy weight battles. It easily outmatches Mechs of similar size simply due to its enhancements. It's also a great improvement over the typical Assassin for Assassin fans.

Do they have stats for Natasha? I imagine they'd be similar to hers.

I don't think it's that simple. The trueborn science their way into the 99th percentile, but that doesn't mean the genetic stars don't align periodically to produce someone of the 99th percentile organically. With the size of the Inner Sphere, and the amount of people breeding, it's probable to have someone freeborn naturally exist with genes in the 99th percentile conductive to being a MechWarrior.

I ended up using the asn 27 more often just because a large laser is so much better than an ac2. The asn dd is knda stinky as a raider just because of its ballistic only arm slot.

@@bigboi7817 Use a tier 5 heavy rifle instead. It can take down an assault mech in two shots from 600m if you get lucky.

The Assassin and a one of my favorite mechs in the game. I can’t wait until I get a hero version!

Assassin DD is solid.

Hey Fox. When you review the loadout of a 'mech could you do a Strip 'mech so we can see what sizes the hardpoints are? It is not always immediatly obvious from the weapons installed. Then yoy can Revert your changes to reste it. Otherwise an excellent serie! Keep it up please!

Yeah, I can do that. I'll try to remember at least.

Hey Mr Fox, Are you planning on playing this game with a couple of mods on it? Some of them are quite good :)

Probably not, I'm not a fan of mods.

Maybe its like the Dread Pirate Roberts from the movie The Princess Bride when it comes to "The Bounty Hunter"...A title/persona that passes from master to apprentice when the previous one wishes to retire.
@Sandokiri3 жыл бұрын
The Bounty Hunter is known to be pretty much that, as there have been green-armoured Bounty Hunters off and on from the 2920s all the way into the 32nd century.

This is like "The Bounty Hunter" amongst even "The Bounty Hunters" though. When someone talks about The Bounty Hunter, this Bounty Hunter is the the one people are going to think of, the one that had the huge feud with Natasha Kerensky.
@Sandokiri3 жыл бұрын
@@GitGudFox That Bounty Hunter's last known mission was during the Fourth Succession War. After that, Michi Noketsuna took it up for a couple years, followed by Vic Travers. Travers was the one who killed Dale Sandstrom in 3033. But yeah, when most people think of the Bounty Hunter, they think of the one who stole Natasha Kerensky's attention, and her Marauder. (:

If MW5 had a larger budget to include stupid things, I would like them to have live news videos to watch like commercials for new Mech variant or weapon commercials, snippets of news debates, and it'd be neat if there was periodic segments from the Bounty Hunter's TV show. While that wouldn't enhance the game mechanically, I think it'd really go the distance for making the world feel more authentic. You could even have Ryana add in her few cents when you're done watching.

To be honest i would have not even bought it in early game because that armount of money can buy you a new heavy command mech and some nice high tier weapons
@GitGudFox3 жыл бұрын
I'd wager the Mech is probably there for medium Mech enthusiasts, people who want to focus their game around medium lances. I think that's one of the shortcomings of MW5. I feel like difficulty should not be a linear thing with tonnage. There should be missions of varying difficulty for each dropweight level. With a system like that, someone could have a sort of super elite covert ops light Mech lance completely kitted out with the latest and greatest stealth tech and what not that a lance of typical light Mechs would just not be able to do, or not be able to do without horrendous damage.
