Using the hero power often is referred to "pushing the button", as you don't play any cards.

Yeah, this sucks... Just imagine that they could even added modular sounds to it, like how each riff has its own sfx and when you play one - you get its sfx and previous riff sfx. I really don't understand how it would be hard to make, even novice programmer could make this in Unity in like an half of hour. And yeah, maybe there will be some weird cornrer cases and fixes that need to be done, but, again, is that REALLY that hard? Such a missed opportunity

@@loganw3501 He is, but this deck runs 12 total FoL cards (2x each of Free Spirit, Peaceful Piper, Groovy Cat, Metrognome, and Spread the Word, along with both Druid legendaries), so he can afford to cut one (probably the Metrognome, this deck does not have draw issues).

Blizzard's nerf philosophy in the past has been that if a single card is just used unilaterally, regardless of what kind of deck it is, it needs to be nerfed. This was true for Azure Drake, Renathal, Theotar, Denathrius and even Astalor previously. But he's STILL making every deck list regardless. Simple nerf idea, have his final form deliver all of the damage to a single target in one burst. This would make him far less effective against swarm decks, Paladin with the new divine shield card and Mage's solid alibi. Is it too much? Maybe. But goodness if I never hear his voice lines again it'd still be too soon.

I like location over pyro to trigger sheep, as it works with the hero power guys and is insane with the 4 mana legendary that makes 3/3 mechs.

Honestly if built correctly the menagerie warrior deck looks like it could be a decent tier 2 deck. Not quite tier 1, but still looks like it could be pretty decent. Hard to say until the meta fully shakes out though, so I could be completely wrong. Rifts might make the cut, but I kind of doubt it. I imagine most of the finale cards that end up being played will be ones that on their own are good while the finale just is a nice added bonus if you can get it. If it's only playable with the finale then it's sort of like a slightly better honorable kill, which was a notoriously awful tag.

@@SpecterVonBaren Good chance of that too. Still think it might have. Especially if enough multi-tagged minions are good. I do hope rifts get a nice buff. That said unless it's a substantial one it'll probably not be enough due to the previously mentioned finale cards needing to be good or at least decent WITHOUT the finale effect going off.

The perception is skewed by the fact that these events don’t allow for enough deck refinement. It’s gonna be good for a grand total of maybe 24 hours and then relegated to trash tier.

@@Arrakiz666 The biggest issue with this format is they force there to be 10 new set cards in each deck. Which obviously means there are a lot of sub-optimal cards in each deck. Oh and the way people built the menagerie warrior deck varied greatly with some having great success (like I mentioned though we'll have to see whether or not that ends up translating nicely when it actually comes out). Trump's list for instance is absolutely horrible. It was almost completely neutrals with a lot of random inclusions to I suppose increase the variance? Reality is is there are a lot of multi tribe cards that are fantastic. Hookfist-3000 is great for instance (3 mana 4/3 when you attack gain 4 armor and draw a card Mech + Pirate).

For aoe you play explosove sheep and location. Locayion also works with h the hero piwer guys and the the new legendary that makes 3/3 mechs.

@@oldschooloverlord depends on the game state. Getting them instantly on turn 4 could just win the game and in late game the opponent could easily play them out them selfs. But you obviously don't always use it, but there are situations where you'd want to.

Regis tried to run it like that, and it wasn’t very good. It just gets left behind super hard, and without Scale of Onyxia, Druid has no mechanism to get back into the game. You have to rely on either Soul of the Forest to make sticky boards, or Flipper Friends and forego Unending Swarm.

The package is not control. Control would be favourable against aggro. This is completely midrange. Putting a clock on control/midrange matchups makes this a midrange deck

Control beats aggro because aggro's gameplan is to rush down the opponent and kill them ASAP, while control removes their minions as efficiently as possible. Midrange beats control because it is able to pace out its resources in such a fashion that the control deck never comfortably or efficiently utilises their removal and value generators in time, and midrange loses to aggro as the aggro deck goes under them and rushes them while the midrange lacks the key removal tools control decks have room for.

Many small minions is definitely the bigger issue. Trump did pretty well against that big beast hunter whereas he got rolled against those zoo decks, which is unsurprising really since literally all the minions in his deck have bad stats for the cost.

Depends on the quantity of big minions. The rake and consistent armor gen can remove a few easily, but any deck that's filling the board with big stuff turn after turn will become too costly to remove.

That's one of the hero powers in duels, it dies at the end of the turn still, so if it has reborn it will lose it and you will keep the base 1/1 ghoul until it expires the next turn

@@diamonddom60 Dane put Flipper Friends in his deck and was still able to get around 10 damage/armour fairly consistently. It makes the rez hit some otters, but it still hits enough Groovy Cats and Free Sprits to be worth it. You don't need absolute maximum value, dealing 15 every turn is going to be pretty effectively similar to dealing 9.

Alternatively just don’t run Unending Swarm. Like, you don’t have to. It may not even be a great card in the deck, these cards don’t actually impact the board when they’re summoned. And at the end of the day, do you really need to go above +5 attack/+5 armor with your hero power? Not really.

This deck is so disgusting and meta-ruining. No midrange nor control have the ability to tank about 7 hp/turn while enemy gains himself 7 hp. Only aggro seems to beat it, but no way in hell I will play any of that sort of deck. Literally unplayable meta till nerfs, and they need to be huge ones for that.

I cant stand druid now. There is no viable diversity in druid anymore. Try making a strong legendary deck for druid without the same stupid hero power cards. They nerfed druid so bad in standard. You have nothing to play with.
