I Played brood war at pro level, too late for tournaments.. about 20 years ago. I cant imagine having eyeballs on me all the time. I was able to listen to music and laugh out loud and curse without fear of repercussions, and it was incredibly stressful as it was

Well it's still sieged in the same spot so you have to reposition it if you want it to siege from further back

The thing with Toss is, no matter how well you are holding on, one minor miscalculation and the whole game's fucked up. Terran and Zerg on the other hand can comfortably shit the bed almost all the time and still have a better chance.

Sc is by far the best rts game, "increasing brain agility and multi-tasking." Heh I wonder if just watching does as well. either way, also the best game to watch, for connoisseurs of killing time.

Great cast and match!!! One thing though......I would really love it if you're switch to a Highlights style instead of a full match. It would be nice to watch a 40min cast than to sit through a 1.5h of Starcraft.

Definitely a cool style that SC2HL does really well. For the moment showing entire matches is my main focus though. There's always details in the buildup and story of each part of each game that are vital, and its very hard to choose what is and isn't worth including. For now I find doing whole series is the best way to make sure nothing is left out

man, the absence of best toss players like Stats, Zest, sOs, Classic hits really hard for the last 2 or 3 years. We can’t really tell if toss is really weak balance-wise , or if there’s just not enough good protoss players left in the pro scene. I stand for the latter tho.

Her0 is every bit as good as the top Terran and Zerg players as shown here, and there is Maxpax too who is very young and gets better and better as he ages.

1. Scan needs to be nerfed hard. Terran has mobile detection in Ravens and static detection in missile turrets. And EMP will reveal cloaked units. They do not need a super cheap map-wide detection/scouting tool. Scan should be increased to 100 or 125 energy. 2. EMP should be nerfed. It really isn't fair that one ability takes away half of Protoss' effective HP and makes every caster useless. I say reduce the AOE of the energy loss so moderately clumped casters have some chance to come away from an EMP with energy. Then make Protoss shield upgrades give some EMP protection. Like reduce the effectiveness by 1/4th each level.

I seriously don't understand why people think hero is the best Protoss, if anything it shows how bad Protoss is cause the guy is a disappointment in 9/10 games I watch, it's crazy how at his level he makes so many mistakes you shouldn't see outside bronze league hero's.

Check Maru and you'll see in messy games he actually uses very few hotkeys himself. The best players are very good at manually controlling things and adapting fluidly to the situation

Game 4, Hero's lack of strategic thinking is so disappointing. This guy is supposed to be the top Protoss in the world? All he had to do was keep Byun off the mining and he would win. 1) Does not mine the forward bases first. 2) Does not keep pushing static defenses forward. Just spam the cannons--they are critical late game when you are mostly limited by army supply. If you forward mine the bases, you can turn the minerals into cannons instead of allowing your opponent to mine them with mules later. 3) Does not ever go psi storm, which just wins late games hands down 4) Gives up making Tempests because he forgot to mine enough gas! Tempests pair well with mass stalker and psi storm because vikings are helpless against that combo. If they clump they get taken out by a single storm, but if they spread the stalkers wreck them. I DO NOT AGREE WITH PIG. 4-6 TEMPESTS FORCE THE ENEMY TO COME TO YOU, ALLOWING YOU TO DESTROY THEM WITH YOUR DISRUPTORS. (or psi storm, if you go that route instead) Late game it's all about taking good engagements. Tempest are THE hard counter to liberators, and mass viking doesn't work for reasons we already discussed. If marines stim forward one ball is all it takes to kill them. You WANT them to come forward into the balls / storm. 5) Likes to throw all his disruptor shots all at once. What? It only takes one ball to kill bio, and so there is no utility to having multiple balls explode on the same spot. You should baby those disruptors, bait with a couple to lead and then wait until there is a pitched engagement. If the bio tries to run you can always blink forward. Forget about living rent free in Hero's head, I wonder if Byun has one of those luxury high-rise condos in there. I've seen this before in competition, where if a guy beats you enough times you start to develop bad mental twitches and feel defeated instead of just looking at the board positions objectively. That was as hard of a throw as I've seen in a while.

Widow mines don't do any damage in TvP and in TvZ not enough damage. Disrupter ridiculous damage and blink dts. Protoss should always win against Terran except if their macro is bad.

There is no option other than bio for terran at high level play against protoss. Heavy mech is useless against protoss because of the disruptors.
