Hero Wars | Hero Wars Combos! K'arkh and Faceless!

My killer combo: Luther, Qing mao, Celeste, Nebula, Martha. Celeste deals massive damage to the opponent tank in the beginning boosted by Nebula and of course with her stats maxed out using glyphs & others. Usually, the tank is dead to half dead after three shots. That's when Luther jumps to the back line dealing massive damage to weak health heros. Celeste at this point turns to white mode and starts healing Luther. While the front rows turn back to attack Luther, Qing mao runs her ultimate and eliminates the front row. This combo has been working out greatly for me.

My killer combo is Astaroth/Karkh/Nebula/Orion/Martha. nebula supports karkh, and he deals a lot of damage to the tank and yasmine. Then, just as nebula supports orion, orion activates his ultimate because his violet skill allows him to earn energy very fast. Orion deals a lot of magic damage while boosted by his artifact. Then as nebula boosts karkh as he gets resurrected and karkh whips the low health people up and kills them. Then orion uses his ultimate again, all synchronized. Thats probably enough to kill the enemy team.

Very good job, and it's very difficult to speak about a better attack combo. Another good attack combo is Dorian + Orion. If they are close enough, each Orion's attack will heal himself, even after Dorian's death. If Orion is well protected, it's a huge damage dealer, against bosses for example (Brog will confirm it ^^). With violet Merlin's patronage, Orion is a machine gun.

Twins are an even stronger synergistic pairing. People think that it's just because of Krista giving marks of water for Lars to do more damage(1), but there is more. Krista has huge magic damage, but she has no magic penetration stat. Luckily, Lars' artifact gives her that(2). When fights last a long time at high levels, you'll see Krista doing a lot of damage as their artifact team boosts get into sync. Also, Krista's Frozen Needles ability does a lot of damage, but only if the enemy is walking around. After Lars throws everybody back with Lord of the Storm, the enemy team walks around to get back into formation(3). If you run Krista in a team without Lars, she does a lot less damage, because heroes don't spend a lot of time walking if you don't force them to. Also, Krista has a strong AoE attack with Icy Vengeance, but it is aimed each opponent and has a small area. Lars' Lord of the Storm ability forces the opponents to cluster in the small area. So Krista fires off the attack 5 times and when the targets are clustered, it work out to 25 hits(4). Chains of Frost is also an AoE attack with a small area. So it affects more people if it fires while the opponents are clustered (5). Finally, there is Krista's Crystallization ability, which absorbs 83% of damage. This means you can multiply the damage she takes by 5, and multiply any healing she receives by 5, because damage dealt doesn't effect her as much. That means she can function as a tank (6) and you can add more mages to a team with Krista and Lars, and both of them will benefit from additional magic attack and magic penetration artifact boosts. So, there are 6 synergies between them, and when you far enough into the game that opponents have built magic resistance, there are many teams where Krista is nearly useless unless Lars is there with her.

I'd like to submit Asta and Markus as one of the best combos. The two of them are so hard to kill next to each other. Their artifacts add both armor and magic defense, Markus heals, and Asta has a rez so they have a lot of staying power. Asta shares damage which goes great with the 5 seconds of damage immunity from Markus. After that you can just add whatever you want behind them. ODH, Keira+Neb, K'arhk+Faceless, or any other damage dealers of your choice. Putting a beefy healer in front of those damage dealers can be really useful too (like against K'arhk maybe). The freedom it gives you for the rest of the team is definitely one of it's strong points. I have them in a GA team with Martha and they've timed out fights where they lost the damage dealers early. Of the two hero combos I think this one may be the "best" for the same reason you said Nebula or Jorgen might be the best if you had to pick one. The "best" varies by situation, and these guys do so well together in so many situations on so many different teams.

I love this combo, I use them both in my main team! Not sure if I have a lot of arguments for which combos are the best. It is a fact that Lars and Krista do amazing things together so that may rival this one... I also like Qing Mao and Keira, as QM lowers the armor of the opposing team and then Keira's violet ability has a chance to shine even more but not sure if it's on this level.

Can't think of a better team combo. Love my Karhk and Faceless team. Almost have mine at level cap, when I do I'm going to work on my Kai to throw him in the mix in some situations. Thanks again for another great video

As a combo, Lars / Krista is better. I don't mean twins team is better than Karkh team. Faceless 1st artifact is Magic Pen which is useless for Karkh. Compare to Krista's Magic Attack and Lar's Magic Pen. In addition, you can build Krista's intelligence higher to protect Lars. Krista puts on water marks & reduce magic resist (chain of Frost) for Lars lighting and stun (Lighting Bolt & Conductance). Lars storm drags enemies over Krista's Frozen Needles gets extra damage.

u missed one point, which is energy gain. karkh is the primary dmg dealer, with faceless copying karkh's ultimate he will trigger the blue ability. each usage of his passive abilty is giving him 10% of energy, so not only is the likelyhood of karkh killing an enemy (giving 30% energy) higher when facless does his thing, but also karkh will get 30% energy for free for 3 knock ups from faceless. same for his power throw which gives karkh 10%.

Lian and Phobos, while Lian charms every other hero Phobos paralyses the one that is taking damage, so no one can actually attack

I actually tried a team on mobile with Martha, Peppy, Dorian, Phobos and Lian in the front. Everyone gets stunned all the time. But the tanking of Lian is too weak as well as the damage output. Its a great concept in my opinion but doesnt work at the moment. Maybe with a new released strong hero that places behind Lian. But yeah Lian works great with Phobos.

Now that I've got a K'arhk and I've played around with him I noticed another neat little synergy between him and Faceless. So obviously if Faceless copies K'arhk's ult then that's a ton of damage, but until I saw it happen I didn't realize that it actually recharges K'arhk's energy (b'c his deadly tendrils ability is actually doing the damage) so he can ult again sooner.

No 2 heros work better together than Sebastian and JET together. These 2 together will boost any heros, each other, and Jet weakens anyone he shoots with acid, and Sebastian just being on the team weakens the opposite teams tank. Add them to any tank and death dealer and you have a killer team. Astaroth/Karkh Andvari/Keira Cleaver/Peppy Galahad/Satori Its a consistent boost, unlike Nebula's orb, Faceless helping

Am still quite new in the game. Free player as of now on my 8th week i think... lvl 56. I saw a team that u rarely see or have only seen once, it is hiedi, jorgen, dorian, peppy n helios. This team beat a team of astaroth, cleaver, galahad, jorgen and markus. And Hiedi was the majority damage dealer. How was it? To have no tank but still survive. Will it also fare well with Khark n Facelss combo?

Sebastian and Daredevil pair extremely well in the mid level ranges (40-80). Not sure about endgame but you can absolutely melt higher level teams and tanks with them. In the Tower when you just need to take out one team extremely fast and may have low health by the end but at least you can take them out this is the combo I typically use. Their survival could be better but with a Dorian for healing or Astaroth so you don't get popped it's pretty nice. Obviously if they have helios you get countered but in that mid range I've been able to survive that regardless.

Since i use kiera fox as my main. I feel Kiera Fox is really awesome duo. Her artifact provides armor penetration to whole team while kiera get extra boost on penetration.Fox ultimate ability knocks back tank n also stun that tank while blinding front row too which gives kiera to kill the second hero on opponent team which is usually damage dealer like khark or satori.

This is the argument you want. I love karkh, but I think twins is still better. Krista can provide a lot of water marks for lars. (1) One important ability is frozen needles, because when lars ults he can drag the enemies along the spikes, dealing insane damage, (2)Lar's artifact buffs magic penetration, and he will activate it while he ults and drags the enemies. (3) Krista's Icy vengeance skill can also hit the enemies AOE, and lars can group them all together. (4) Her green skill is also AOE and can benefit from the grouping. Those are only the basics. (5) Twins team also counters cornelius because cornelius will hit krista if she is more intelligent (she will be with max stats), and she will negate a lot of the damage. (6) Out of these the most important synergy is timing. Krista's green skill is perfectly timed to go right before lars' blue skill. Lars' lightning bolt targets the closest enemy with a water mark. Krista's green skill only hits the center, so she will not mark the tank, but she will mark the squishy damage dealer like karkh, keira, yasmine, qing mao, elmir, etc. Lars will then strike the second hero dealing a lot of damage and stunning for a long time, and will soon be killed. (7) One last synergy is that Krista's blue skill marks all enemies with water marks, and there is NO chance factor. That way for twins players that are not all the way to level 130, there will still be a way to guarantee water marks. I hope this will prove to you what I am thinking.

If you are using faceless with k'arkh. The health skin is better. It gives faceless survivability which is huge for kark team. You want faceless in long enough to use power throw and keep his magic def buff. Since this team revolves around kark magic attack is not necessary for faceless right away.

I got Jorgen, Aurora, K'arkh and Nebula last week. I'm playing Chapters 3 and 4 with Aurora - K'arkh - Nebula - Dark Star - Faceless and the pet Mara. Is it a good team? I feel it works very well but Aurora isn't a great Tank and I don't know if Nebula is good as a healer. The idea is to use my enemy's abilities with Faceless, Dark Star and Mara. In my opinion the best combo is Dante-Heidi LOL

I don't have a combo better than the common ones, but it sounds like your Karkh/Faceless combo is more or less based on playing manual. Thats fine and all, but when you play the game on auto, it may significantly change the dynamic since it isn't guaranteed that Faceless dopplegangs (prob not a word but its fun) Karkh to double down. Great video that really makes you think!!

Best of luck. I'm at end game and all my 4 Combo beats Kharkh in defense or offense. Most combo with Good synergy beats Kharkh teams in endgame. Twins, Cleaver+Peppy, Qing+Dark Star, Elmir+DD, Satori, Ishmael+Seb. These are without Adnvari. With Andvari Kharkh loses all battles. Also Kharkh gets spanked if enemy has 2 toons with Armor boost like Asta+Jet, Cleaver+Martha, Arachne+Helios. Kharkh AP isn't high enough when they ult together. They let the team ignore 90% of all incoming PA damage. This is in Endgame. If you are building Kharkh stop him at 80k and the team at 350k. After that Kharkh starts to lose more battles. A weaker Kharkh will win you more battles than a stronger one.

With K'arkh it's moot to ask, but what does a lv 260 Ult look like? Would Kiera and Faceless work? Think about that attack lineup: ricochet basic, team AoE Ult with a follow up team AoE with 6500 more damage.

Faceless won't do much for Keira because Keira is all about getting super buffs to maximize her output. Faceless copying her won't have those buffs. Use Sebastian, Jet and Nebula and watch how much she does.

If anyone wants a strong tower team, try Astaroth, Jorgen Orion, Faceless and either Thea or Martha. Once Orion is Violet rank, he gets more energy per attack, you use his ultimate, then copy it with Faceless, and most of the enemy team with be dead. Since it will most likely be Faceless who makes 2-3 kills, his energy is ready for the next battle, Orion receives his extra energy, and will most likely be almost ready to ultimate again. The other three just work well together. This also works in the Arena and campaign.

I Like Astrid & Luther a LOT! Due to Astrid's nature, she can't be supercharged! Which in this case isn't really a Problem. Normally Luther is the first who is using his ultimate to jump into the opponents field. At this time Astrid Needs About 8-10 seconds to use her Ultra. Exactly that time, when Luther's artefact dwindle's. And there the next sygergy comes in. Astrid's artefact is not a classy marksman artefact but instead, she raises Luthers Defens aigain, which makes him tanky af an lets him live a lot longer! Next Lucas has a small push back on the first Hero which possible causes him to turn back an also face Luther! Lucas will also act as a Tank which you'll need 'cause Luther will expose the second Hero when he jumps! So you are attacking the squishy Backline with Luther, while Lucas can be easily "summoned", attacks the frontfield and is getting additionally attack with every attack he does!

I also thought about this combo. Im not sure yet if I should go for Astrid & Luther or Astrid & Ziri. The problem that I have with the Luther team is that you need at least one hero just to keep Luther alive. Probably even a healer and astaroth. But as I said I dont have him yet and I couldnt test that out.

I think that on max lvl Twins might be slightly better in manual. Maybe they don´t vibe so much But Larses grey ability + Kristas grey ability + Kristas frozen needles is a decent killer. Plus the watermark.

The issue with the combo is that Face is not copying only Ulti, but any skill. So unless you are playing in Wars where you have the ability to manual activate, i would say that there is a bit of luck necessary. And what if you play against Advari or Fox ? And why don;t play Kai which there will be 100% to lift up when he ulti. But then also against the twins there is rufus and against the blender there is Lian. it is a matterof tactics. The combo that i like is strictly for the mobile version and that is Elmir with Daredevil. Elmir with duplicates and Daredevil with his extra shots. Add a Ziri dorian Nebula and you have a great team. So in my opinion- Elmir + Daredevil

One of my favorite under rated combos was Rufus and Marcus... but I dunno if the recent Marcus upgrade has caused it but my combo doesn’t create the unkillable duo anymore... so your karkh/faceless combo is the strongest I know of. I’m leveling my Fox to see how well she combos with Kiera and I’ll continue to level up Rufus/Marcus to see if they do better again at max....

Jet and Sebastian make any physical damage dealer better. Yes countered by Helios, but bob and faceless countered by Andvari. Note! I finally realized who counters Jorgen!! Took me so long! I thought he didn’t have a counter but he does! Do you know who it is without looking!?!

Faceless is so wonderfully flexible. So far my favorite teammates for him are Maya and Yasmine. Need healing? Faceless and Maya will make your entire team damn hard to kill. Damage? Things don't live long with two Yasmine's blitzing the field. (Boss's freaking melt!) I'm still kinda shaky on who my other two permanent team mates should be though. There are some hero ults that are borderline useless to copy if you have them already on the team.

Faceless copying Yasmine does poor damage because damage is based off of facelesses physical attack. Even worse the pure damage blue ability bonus isn't applied either.

I think the twins is a better combo because it's really strong on campaing too. Since most bosses are knock-up resistant, K'arkh+Faceless are really poor against them

Hi Charlie, I love your videos and they help me massively and my guild. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind showcasing and testing my set up please just so I can get a feel for it at full power. My team is Andy, Keira, Nebula, Orion and Jet. I've found this team kills everything really fast. But can struggle against strong jorgen teams and twins teams if strong enough. Thanks mate. spend on karkh nebula stones, or titan skins coins...you'll get plenty of potions later once your titans are at absolute level

Are we talking arena or Guild war? Karkh+faceless and Twins are both good teams. I think they match up with Karkh because second hero is Krista with high armor so if they get knocked back. Also Karkh is weak against magic D, even with faceless's violet ability. Celeste can block some of the healing and Astaroth's Resurrect. Then you have the Twins artifact buffs, MP - Lars, MA -Krista, MA-celeste, MA-Jorgen, Armor Astaroth. When those all line up that is insane damage. Then Astaroth can bring back lars if he drops. Then you have Jorgen draining energy which will slow them down. Then Jorgen energy drain vs martha's speed up basically negates that. Faceless adds a bit of randomness to the battle, but I think Twins at max vs Karkh/Faceless at max will win more times than not. To me they are 2 of the best teams in the game because they are both so versatile,

I feel that building a kark team can be the best for GA and arena later on in the game, but i dont think its a good unit early/mid game, because you can only get his pieces from tournement of elements, and he is pretty much usuless in campaign Bosses and outland, i think you sacrifice too much in the other areas of the game if you try to build him early on.

Reason I dont like Karkh is he is too easy to counter. - Keira Nebula Orion combo kills Bob team in 20-30 seconds. - Insert Andvari into nearly any team on mobile and you will likely kill Bob team. - Insert frontliner stun hero like Fox and you will likely kill Bob team.

Winning the skin should be very easy: Lars + Krista: Lars ultimate dispositioned all enemys on 1spot which leads for kristas blue ability to damage because they are moving ( due to lars ult over Kristas crystals ). Lars ultimate also provides kristas green ability to reduce enemy magic resist of ALL enemys cause they all are in the middle then ( obv. Cause they are on the same spot ). Kristas ultimate deals AoE damage which leads again with Lars ultimate to AoE damage for the whole enemy team x5 ( because of 5 ice explosions from krista ult ). *which is due to the artefact weapons from lars and krista ( magic pen and magic damage ) already at an advantage over karg'h faceless* and ofc 2damage spells that lars has have synergy too due to his purple skill which is with the water sign dealing more damage and stun longer, kridta provides those with 2 of her 4 abilitys and lars with his ultimate. Only ability with lars and krista i don't see yet is kristas purple ability. Maybe she just tanks more damage then tanks before lars gets attacked so he can still do damage even if your tank is dead due to her being in front of lars in positioning, i think that counts lol *to sum up both of the 2 heroe combos having synergy but lars+krista has artefact weapon advantage* so i win don't i ? 😌

Jhu and New Markus on mobile will be the strongest combo in game. Jhu’s ultimate skill can’t be killed and Markus first skill can heal and block all kind of attack for him. So will be very strong 💪 and can’t be easy to defeat. Which is even better is that Markus can always use his skill even though he died. So Markus will be the next hero for me to invest in order to make my Jhu team more powerful!

I prefer Kiera and Nebula. The supercharge kills most before the fight even begins.

Cause its one more hero you mentioned ofc but with nebula instead of kai it will be even better. The damage buff nebula provides for Karg'h results in more damage than playing with kai.
