I just randomly got him this morning. Still in shock. This is the first video I’m even watching of him because I never factored getting him so I wasn’t even thinking about learning about this hero aside from counters. Can’t believe I got him.

I got him a few months ago but haven't bothered leveling him up yet, although I'm considering it to put him with Peppy to counter the Twins.

I've never had Cleaver but the only time I had any trouble killing him was when I was low level. Once I got Dorian leveled, Cleaver's rusty hook just helped make my team harder to kill

In my experience, Lian isn’t a 100% counter against Cleaver’s Rusty Hook (at least on mobile). Reason being, there’s a glitchy interaction with Cleaver and Lian. Sometimes Lian doesn’t charm Cleaver at all and she gets pull all the way to the front and other times, she charms Cleaver midway so she stops at position 3/4 instead leaving the back line exposed to more of Cleaver’s hooks. Odds of these interactions happening are about 30-40% from my experience.

He's good early game, but once you've played for a while and build up other tanks, not sure he's worth the resources.

Cleaver is impressive when you can get him. If you are lucky and get him mid game, then you can easily integrate him into the team. If you get him too late, he needs a lot of work to compete with the established heroes in your primary teams.

On mobil andvari prevents cleaver from hooking your back line. So you don't have to worry about seeing lars on the corner.

I don't have him. I wonder if he's useful for a crit hit team, something like Cleaver-Ishmael-Jhu-Artemis+healer and Fenris.

My cleaver team is: Cleaver, Celeste, Orion, Dorian and Peppy. Probably my favourite team. I also can replace nebula or helios insted of celeste.

Was there any big prize in chests before cleaver? Is there a chance we get a new “legendary” hero to replace cleaver and cleaver goes into the normal pool?

Hmm great question...I don't think there was a prize before Cleaver. And I doubt they add a hero after, considering most people don't get Cleaver.

The biggest reason i'd love a cleaver from winterfest is because i have no absolute star tanks and i am at team level 80ish so rather have a 6star damage dealing tank then a 4star astaroth :D fingers crossed lol.

Ishmael is a great self heal hero. Combine him with dorian for a arena defense, and he won’t die.
