Thanks for sharing my findings and all the callouts! One note about the first staff, after you get it go to a space station multitool upgrade terminal and use the option that unlocks more slots. It will instantly unlock 7 additional tech slots for free. But you must do it before you exit the game, as it won't work after a reload. Also note the tool has 49.9% scanner range, so both stats are near perfect.

If exchange the positions of P-Field Compressor and one upgrade module (that means putting the neutron cannon, P-Field Compressor, and two upgrade modules on the supercharged slots), the damage will be slightly higher because it can create 14 balls after charging

I guess many of the damage totals are bugged, with many more probably like this. Love the game but I do hope all stat bars are improved, including ship stats, for more transparency on value.

Its probably not a bug, but the UI is showing damage per second, which in this case is not helpful as you need to manually press and then release the trigger at exactly the correct number of milliseconds every single time to reach the potential. So a single shot configuration like the one in the video is better for this weapon.

It's very interesting to experiment. Perhaps S 4cs will give maximum damage. But you need to find it first. You can also enhance the damage with technology that drops from guards.

Not sure what I did wrong, but when I tried to make the first staff, I was giving was rank A instead of S. I used the same head in the video so I don’t know if the last patch might of nerfed it? Unless it needs the chamber to be the same, sadly I have not the best of luck with Void Motes.

My staff has only 20k total damage but does over 6k with shatter blast every hit n shoots faster. I never get up to 200k with that exact setup

For the Neutron Cannon at least, the T shape is superior. For other weapons, such as the beam spitter or boltcaster, I heard that a diamond super shape may work best. But did not test myself, as I don't use those weapons.
