Nope, not at all, but to be fair there usually aren't such amazingly huge stacks of creatures to "feed" off of.

you have to look at it this way, yes it is a strong artifact but at the same time you sacrifice your boots your cape and necklace to create it. if i used adela or cyra most of those creatures would end up joining me instead of fighting or running away, i prefer diplomacy over cloak of undead king, and extra downside of the artifact is that when you want to build wraiths you need advanced necro and that can easyly be passed so only best recruit from the artifact would be skellies and later the liches

but, dude, every necropolis hero should have expert necromancy....your morale will also drop drastically if you have units from different castles

best gains for the artifact would be to have small pilgrims under control: east to kill due to 1att 1 hp and 1 defence but killed to be brought back as skeletons makes it oh so juicy although it would be nice to see a test video of how well diplomacy works for each castle user since my join rate is higher on castle and snow castle but using a dungeon with malkith using the skill it has a up and down sucess rate but oh boy if you come across tier 7 creatures they do love to run or join you alot.
