[Heroes of Might and Magic V - Heroes 5.5] This is a tragic attempt at ambushing a dwarven Runemage

Late game battle between an Academy faction might hero - the Ecnhanter Havez and a Fortress faction magic hero - the Flamekeeper Bart.
This is the RC 15 Beta 9 version of the game.

Ouch. Runemage spamming Hypnotize kept you from using more useful spells. That was painful to watch.

Yeah that battle felt like a nosebleed and especially towards the end - now that Ive rewatched it I just really feel that intiative bar working against me and the way it placed my hero and the Rakshazas made the enemy hero get a full turn out of them, have me cleanse the puppet master and then they could reapply it right after. That being said my hero was might so him not being able to use powerful spells means very little when Im actively denying enemy spell casting or at least most of it and Im enjoying the stat advantage... which ultimately let me take this win with 30% less troops and lack of ammo cart.

Even though this was years ago I remember I had an ammo cart but it was destroyed in battle shortly before this encounter and I forgot to replace it... maybe partially because I was not expecting to fight so soon, but even then Im not sure Id notice the ammo cart missing at all.

Any idea how Town Management works? I click on that map spell and nothing happen. It suppose to teleport on gate town.

You can teleport to a town via town management only if it has a level 5 mage guild
