Not really. Personally I didn't like HOMM6. HOMM7 was somewhat better but also not great.

No Hmmo 6 have better graphics but the history is really Bad and the level desing is the same in all factions Hmmo 7 have is good in history and gameplay but it have a lot of Bugs, and the Game is really easy if You have played hmmo 5

Why keep spelling vampirism when the spell is still active?

Because of weird HOMM5 coding, vampirism dispels puppet master while puppet master itself does not overwrite the enemy's puppet master. Apparently they messed up spell's id somewhere in the code or smth like that.

well, Vampirism make temporary selected unit, an "undead" and which cure effect of mind spells(puppet and frenzy)
