The Deathwatch is a great idea. Black armor, one chapter shoulder pad and one silver Deathwatch shoulderpad... would look so great.

The deathwatch isn't its own chapter though. You've kind of already made all your marines into a deathwatch squad by mixing marines from multiple chapters to kill Xenos.

17:06 This is such a haunting scenario lmao, a dozen tonnes of a shark in clad steel charging right at you right around the corner, the laser you just shot just grazing past his cheeks while his ripsaw blade coming for yours. Also never heard of you or paid particular attention to XCOM2, but found you thru recommendation and i have been so ENGROSSED with this WH40K XCOM2 series, newly subbed just for this series, so thanks!

In all fairness, given the Lamenters', uhm, "unusual fortune", it's entirely plausible that nobody could fit the right crest onto their armour or find the right shade of yellow xD

I'd want to be one of the Raptors. They're a Ravenguard successor chapter that specializes in what we know as Special Forces tactics. They're one of the only Chapters to use camouflage on their power armor, and when they move into combat theaters, they routinely disperse themselves among the Guard units to instruct them-- there are many jokes about them "adopting" squads or platoons of Imperial Guard while they operate with them.

I gotta admit the way you sell the gameplay as a little story is extremely refreshing and interesting,most channels just play game and treat it as a spreadsheet which saps the fun out of it to a degree,but your format feels like watching Netflix show (one of the good ones that is). Keep it up.

It seems to me that with each new episode the mod list get more and more refined. I've been missing actual story driven modded X-COM 2, so thank you for this series. I sure hope one day you will do the same with a Mass Effect setting... or a Mega Modded Campaign. In any case, keep up the good work.

You asked which chapter is my favourite. I like the blood claws of the blood angels because of their rush into close combat. I respect the salamanders for their sense of service to others and desire to burn things. Ultramarines are just nice and disciplined. My current favourite is the Worldeaters for 40k. I like their rush to put axe to face. More skulls for the skull throne.

I'd be very wary of Shark, he was giving a lot of khornate vibes during the network tower mission. Saying that an XCom playthrough where you play as a chaos cult trying to 'liberate' the world from the imperium shortly after an imperial reclamation force came through and brought it back into the fold (or something like that) does sound cool. With the various resistance factions done up as various cults and factions you have to unite. Facing off against fanatics, astartes, sororitas, imperial guard and PDF. Could even include the hive queen mod as a local offshoot of the tyranids that some magos biologis cooked up in his private laboratory, that then proceeded to escape and slaughter everybody. Could even add some of those 40k minor enemy faction mods due to Chaos being far from an united force.

While clearly it's going to go to a Patron (I'd do so were I able to afford), having a Raptor Chapter would be extremely neat and completely flavorful for how XCOM requires you to fight. Reasonable, willing to camouflage for the environment, long range and close connection with the Guard. Perfect to integrate! Edit: I thought only Drukhari utilized Sslyth Mercenaries. Glad to see them being used by the T'au now too! (Vipers)

Hey, I have an OC imperail guard group that specialises in taking down large armor foes. The group I made was for Dawn of war but I did make up lore for it. Ofically they just a penal legion under the direct command of a mix Imperail Guard and Adapts Machnics. Unofically there one of deadlyist Titan/ Anit-titan legions in the Impreailm. The were form in the year M40.2 when an world with an active Man of Iron was loctaded. The only reason they wont exterminitcs then and there was when scanes reaviled it making titans by the hundreads in mear years when it took the Machnics centreals to do the same. It was decided by the Lord of Mars that till this knowage of titan forming was found and the titans librated the man of Iron was not to be touched. It was later decied that using Penal legions would be a cost effect way to Libreat the titans without too much lose of important. So the Iron wars had begon. Ever surivier of the Penal Legions who survivled five 'Iron Wars' would be givin there 'freedom' as Vetrens of the Iron wars. After they would be sent to worlds filled with fallen knight familys turned traiter, Ork Waags with 'Stumpas', and even Necron worlds invading Impreal space. They faced them all for they survived wars agaist titans, this was far lesser.

The fact that you're this far into a STEALTH, RESISTANCE, INSURGENCY, 40K CAMPAIGN, and you haven't taken it upon yourself to incorporate a member of GAUNTS GHOSTS Z regardless of the patreon whatever, makes me question your knowledge of the guard extremely deeply. Otherwise, amazing play through. But really dude!? You're ignoring the single best regiment for this kinda stuff for a pay wall? I get you gotta make money, I really do, but damn. Cadians and Krieg, are piss poor examples for this setting. I'm still gonna watch this too the end though, quality content, just feels like the awesomeness is pay walled and that's lame, considering how the only one doing these mods justice is you.
