The whole Ric Flair retirement angle and the send off Ric Flair got the night after WMXXIV was all for nothing as Ric Flair went on to wrestle in TNA. Yes, he became a part time wrestler after WMXXIV and, yes, retirements in wrestling mean nothing. However, at the very least, the night after WMXXIV should have been called Ric Flair Appreciation Night considering the WWE did something for Ric Flair they would have never done for anyone else in the business: have a Four Horsemen reunion with JJ Dillon and have Harley Race in Orlando among other legends who may not have even had any sort of direct relationship with the WWE. And the more I think about it, it kinda explains why when HBK retired in 2010, his send-off was far less extravagant than Ric Flair's send-off in 2008.

This was an interesting subject. As for Shawn Michaels, even as you stated, his record at WrestleMania may not be that great, but his Wrestlemania match quality, top notch. As for Edge, what more needs to be said? Great matches left and right (except for the Booker T match), classic after classic, etc. As for Batista, in my opinion, his only notable matches were vs John Cena Mania 26, Mania 21 vs Triple H and vs Undertaker at Mania 23. Roddy Piper, although he wasn't at every single Mania event, but the worst one was Mania 25 as part of the legends with Steamboat and Snuka. His other matches were solid. I can't wait for who you cover next.

If Angle chose to back out of Mania XIX, and Benoit replaced him, I couldn’t see that match main eventing. Hogan/Vince or Austin/Rock would’ve likely main evented.

Austin/Rock was penciled in as the Main Event of Wrestlemania 19 until Austin's medical incident prior to Wrestlemania

Batista v undertaker is do underrated

I've often had this thought about what the main event of Wrestlemania 1 should have been and I know it's bit of a stretch, but the main event of the first Wrestlemania should've been Hulk Hogan defending the title either against Roddy Piper or Bruno Sammartino. The latter makes sense considering the rivalry between the two, and the former is an all time dream match between two of the greatest world champions in WWF/E history.

Hogan/Piper I can buy; but I get why they did a tag match Hogan/Bruno would have turned the crowd against Hogan. Even as big as Hogan was in 1985, Bruno was still a hero to that New York crowd, & the last thing they needed to do was have a split crowd with their new top guy in Hogan

Had Shawn Michaels vs Eddie Guerrero happened at WM 22 who do u think wudda went over ? And would it been a Inter-Promotional Match or for the World Heavyweight Title ?

It probably would have been a non-title interpromotional match And if I had to guess who would have gone over, probably Shawn; but that is one that could have gone either way

Shawn vs Flair also SHOULD have main evented. Nothing could follow that match at Mania XXIV.

Flair has said they were offered the spot & he said no because "the champion should go last" Which begs the question why didn't he fight for that spot at Wrestlemania 8 then when he was the champ

edge vs mick foley at wrestlemania 22 is easily my favorite edge match at wrestlemania 22 joey styles calling it was great especially since it was a hardcore match that was great edge vs booker T feuding over a Japanese commercial you'd think vince russo wrote it what were they thinking that fan sign said they are fighting over shampoo still makes me laugh 22-years later wow it's been that long time flies batista's best wrestlemania match is his match against undertaker at wrestlemania 23 that entire feud was awesome.
