I recommend using 2 Poly in your Roid deck. TGS Anime went over the Roids this week and the Roid Connection Fusion only works for VehicleRoid Fusions and not all Roid Fusions

I loved this episode, probably one of the best ones so far. You could see so many overlooked cards from childhood in a more or less cohesive deck. It was a nice mixture of anime duel and casual duel between friends

Future fusion is a good card to use. I use it with my cyber dragon deck, although the power bond has been useful. Future fusion does help when I can't draw the cards I need

For the GX series, I think it would be interesting to have Trell as an Obelisk blue presenting an opportunity for extra cards/support for an archetype or Larry as a professor giving you your "midterm" and promotes someone to Ra yellow. Glad you guys are moving the series along with the virtual pulls. May the next few boxes add some spice to those decks.

You damn Slackers! I'll have to admit that I don't have as much of a remembrance of GX sets. I was trying to master a spirit deck after running a Silent Swordsman deck during that era so I was in quite the world of struggling.

Now all Paul needs is a Chain Material normal trap card See that card can let him fuse with Vehicroid connection zone from hand, field, deck and graveyard, banishing the materials. It'll cost him a battlephase but gets him the Jumbodrill, which dodges the side effect of chain material which blows up the fusion(s) it makes in the endphase, thanks to Connection Zone

You know, looking back on it, it's kind of wild to think about the "Fusion Deck" (or Extra Deck, as we call it in the modern day), and how basically useless it was, competitively, for so long. In Gen 1, it was basically just a bank for Magical Scientist OTK shenanigans. I have no idea how useful it was during the GX era, but a lot of the cards do seem like they were not that amazing. So, when I think about how Extra Deck focused modern Yugioh is, it's crazy to me to think about how not good the Extra Deck was for so long.

It's kinda sucks that the "ROID" Fusion Spell can't work on the other Roid Fusion monsters since they need to be called Vehicroid. OH well! Though that second Supercharge would have come in handy to just draw additional cards. Wonder Garage is just a dead card... though that 1 copy isn't a bad idea, but 2 Supercharges would have been better. Still, strong new Slackers for the new year!

This was such an amazing duel, you guys always keep me at the edge of my seat! As always, I had a blast watching this episode as I didn't expect Roids to do so much against the Hero deck! I cracked a lot of Power of the Duelist packs back in the day and tried to make a Roid deck work but failed miserably... I remember summoning UfoRoid Fighter in a duel once though (specifically with Tempest and Uforoid), I was so excited about it but got defeated nonetheless! Glad to see them back here :)

This and 5D era were peak yugioh for me. I dont know what it is about modern yugioh. You go on master duel ranked and people take turns lasting like 10 minutes. Then pass turn, main phase 1 hits, you summon, and trigger another 10 friggin minutes of effects for them. So many negates and so many special summons. GX and 5D were just the right amount of everything for me. Also i have an affinity for E Heroes and Stardust. A 1st Edition Ultimate Stardust was my prized baby back in the day. It had a little dent in it from over time. Still sold it for about $500 raw 🎉 I miss it. 😢
