I don't care what anyone says about Bo-Katan. She is the first character in this entire series to refer to Din and Grogu as father and son by saying "your dad" and "your kid." Not _the_ kid, or your little friend. Even the Armorer calls Grogu "the foundling". Bo-Katan sees them as *family* and as parent and child.

What I absolutely loved after seeing the Mythosaur, was seeing how even while being underwater, wearing a helmet, and without saying a word, you can see the thought process Bo-Katan goes through in that moment: "Oh shit, the legends are real." They did an excellent job of setting that moment up with her nonchalant tone when reading out the plaque and her general attitude before that

Obviously, it doesn't matter for the show but in legends the Mythosaur could grow to be as big as a small city, so I am not really surprised that it is so big. Also, everyone seems to think Din got pulled in and I am not sure why. He took off his jetpack and was wading in water, wearing full beskar armor in the dark, just slipped and sank like a stone. When Bo Katan jumps in after him you can see how the stairs used to lead to a little platform, probably where she did it as a girl, but it has since crumbled/been destroyed. Maybe people think the slipping is a little lame, but Din really cares about the creed, and this was obviously a spiritual moment for him. He probably wasn't paying attention to his footing.

The hidden genius of this season so far is how Din, Bo and other characters are teaching Grogu about the universe (as well as Bo teaching Din about Mandalore and the other sides of the culture)... and thus teaching us, the audience, too. A lot of this exposition and lore-building might feel forced or awkward otherwise, but it totally fits within the context of teaching a youngling or a naive Watch foundling.

If you think about it both Din AND Bo bathed in the Living Waters. I think the Armorer KNEW Din would have drown in the Waters and she didn’t discuss the possibility it would be dangerous aka sending Din to his death. Yet TWICE Bo his “enemy” saved his life.

I think the Armorer didn't purposely send Din to drown. Din was careless to get into the water 1. without even trying to gauge the depth and 2. by not removing the rest of his armor (helmet excluded) - that's why he sunk so fast like a rock. You clearly see that Bo Katan was struggling to hold and get him our of the water because of how heavy he was.

Grogu and Bo’Katan tie for MVP in this one! I loved how Grogu had to step up and save his dad and he came through. Watching Bo effectively use the Dark Saber and save Din twice was such a treat. Can’t wait for the next episode!

When Din went under the water, he stepped off a sudden drop-off. Nothing pulled him under. Rewatch it again, the great Mythosaur (MYTHOSAUR!!!) looked at Bo and Din as they swam up, but if it was aggressive, it would not have simply allowed them to pass by it. The Mythosaur is a mighty, noble beast. It is not some weird vile monster.

Not only did it allow them to pass, it actually turned to its left, away from them, and began to move away. And yeah, it was a sudden drop off. When Bo-Katan dives in, you can see the broken stairs behind her. That combined with the fact that Din was likely badly weakened by the cyborg, and the weight of his armor all serve to drop him like a heavy rock. That's why he was flat on the ground.

When bo is diving down, when she turns her light off you can see the mythosaur behind her as she passes it, I think its good foreshadowing that she only saw it when holding onto din a very devout beliver

Bo is the ont to tame the Mythosaur. It will be the way for the show to reinstate her as ruler of Mandalore. It's the best way than having her fight mando for the sabre. Din is more of a lonesome cowboy/gunslinger type and won't be bothered with titles and the burden of ruling Mandalore. He even refused a peaceful life from the Magistrate, so no way he's going to become ruler of Mandalore.
