In case you didn't know, Starro is a villain who mind controls people with his children/spawn. So the cops attacking you makes "sense" because Starro infected them.

Floor 29 is absolute hell. Two console defenses against level 58 Court of Owls, hard to hit talons swarming the console. Virtually impossible solo. Congrats on pulling it off. I can't get to floor 30 because of it.

Floor 29 is the hardest thing I had to do in Gotham Knights. And I really don’t think I would have made it if not for Robin and his cryogenic slingshot. I basically never left the console and kept shooting around to prevent enemies to come near. And whenever I had enough momentum, I would make it rain snow and use that opportunity to kill everything else Mind you, even with that Strategy, I barely made it out with just 8% left on the console

I still can't beat Floor 29 (on hard, but I'm guessing that's what everyone's on if you even get a choice), I'm not even getting close My character may be bordering on invincible, but the talons are just doing so much console damage I really wish I didn't feel the need to have to do something by myself if even one person proves it can be done...Alfred would totally lecture me

@@unicornbunny6307 In the end, I had to stand around in the console room for 30 minutes waiting for a player to show up and we were able to get it done. I've since finished floor 30 a few times with rando players, even managed to do it solo once with Red Hood. Floor 29 is definitely the worst floor for solo play.

Oh my god I’ve been stuck on floor 29 for 2 days because I want to do the whole thing solo on hard but god damn 2 console defenses with 500 talons aggressive towards only the console… it feels impossible. I’ve made it to the last room so many times and end up losing because there are just too many tanky enemies that self revive.

This is for real a nightmare. Me (Red Hood) and a Friend(Batgirl) are trying to finish floor 30. but we currently stuck on the 29th. Is there one (more maybe even two) players who are willing to help us get this anyone ass trophy? 😅

@@Djisso getting this Christmas, but it seems, as you mentioned, ideas seem kind of 2010s in term of objective execution and constant enemy spawning. Part of me is holding on to the idea that they wanted to make a more old school/traditional RPG?

Anything you can do to provide healing is a must for this mode. And Since the king of Backflip is also the Healing King, he won’t ever break a sweat

@@Djisso yes I have a legendary gear piece that heals me for every perfect evade along with doing his momentum abilities

That’s actually busted I found one which heals whenever you land critical damage, which happens all the time by the way

For me I can solo floor 25-30 consistently with batgirl and Robin, batgirl has the a I,it’s to heal every time she knocks out someone with heavy melee attack and her bat shield helps a lot and Robin is the best elemental person and for floor 30 just freeze everyone but don’t kill them so no one respawns

The 29th Floor was quite the challenge if you want to go solo. And Batgirl’s ability trivialize the 30th floor since she can get complete immunity. Have you tried with Redhood or Nightwing though ? 🤔

@@Djisso I have beaten it with nightwing but not consistently since I always have trouble protecting starro while repairing the 4 generators at end, same with red hood, like I’ll stay Ali be with full health but they don’t have any abilities where I can protect starro and myself and repair generators at once on one player

With nightwing though the times I have beaten it one player I usually try to freeze everyone and use his speed ability to quickly get around and his nest ability to try to protect starro

I tried everything solo, batgirl was the only one who could handle it my red hood couldn’t do a damn thing solo I love the damage though

Batgirl is great both solo and in co-op with her Bats ability. The other ones struggle a lot with the trials. Damage is good but it doesn’t do much when you have to stay still and activate a console

@@Djisso there’s a glitch that happens to me way to often when I’m trying to activate the last button in the starro encounter to summon the man bat if I get hit or interrupted I can no longer do any action whatsoever, even if I die

My experience -> did all 30 floors, got Level 60 blueprints. LOST all previous blueprints. Did the Villain Missions, got Lvl 60 blueprints from Talia, great! Did other Villains, immediately lose blueprints from non-level 60 ones since it auto-deletes them, NOT FUN. So... game is pretty much forcibly done?

I do not understand why we are not giving the choice. I can’t believe a simple toggle is so hard to implement in the game. I don’t mind having 100 Blueprints since you can sort them by power level. But to just remove everything from your inventory is borderline stupid. And someone actually Green lit this 🙂

Not to be a BIT of a buzzkill here but in regards to the locked 30 fps thing....I think that is 100% attributed to the entire mode taking place indoors instead of in the open world. The game runs noticeably different performance wise between those 2 mediums. I will say though that it DOES still serve as a feather in their cap that on the later floors....especially 30 where it's ad galore....the frames still never drop at all. So maybe your point still ultimately holds up that they improving things on the back end. Personally I'm not really holding my breath at all for 60. Hell yeah I want it. But I also understand just how gimped their entire scenario is by designing the game with the un tethered approach instead of just doing what all other co op games do. At this point after seeing how surprisingly effective it runs...I saw this in Plague Tale Requiem....I'd be happy with a 40 fps mode in GK. 40 strikes the happy medium btwn the visual fidelity of 30 and the smoothness of 60. It's something I genuinely laughed at and mocked UNTIL I saw it at work in PTR. I think God of War also has a 40 fps mode as well if any ps guys are curious. 40 fps...I know it sounds ridiculous...but seriously....don't knock it until you try it. It is genuinely surprising. And I think it would be PERFECT for Gotham Knights.

I don’t think Gotham Knights necessary needs a bump in frame-rate to be good. But after playing Sifu, God of War or The Callisto protocol, you really feel like the game could benefit from that extra smoothness. And about that 40 fps cap, I think insomniac Games introduced it first with Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart and the feedback was surprisingly good. And then more games like Horizon, The Plague Tale adopted that formula. And given the limitations of consoles when it comes to Gotham Knights’ vision of an untethered coop experience, I too think they won’t be able to attain the 60 fps. But they could then rely on the 40 fps option. The only downside is that you need a monitor or tv able to deliver 120 fps to be able to play at 40 fps. So they make soon happy but ultimately, some will remain unhappy

How is this any less tedious than avengers i think the game is fun and now if you build correctly and play correctly Robin is the best character in the game. Yea it’s tedious shit is fun af tho I love waves

I actually didn’t mind the waves of enemies would have appreciate a proper endless mode with increasing difficulty. The tedious part were those escort missions since they were bringing out the clunkiness of the game. And since they redesigned some bosses from the main game, I did not understand why the last floor wasn’t also an epic boss fight
