We've got a lot of Herons at Concord & Ryde Sailing Club in Sydney. And several have been rebuilt at the club including wooden ones. You will probably want to remove the internal structure and stiffen the bottom panels to compensate. This reflects a class rule change. They were originally called the "Yachting World Cartop Dinghy" and Heron no 1 is part of the collection of the National Maritime Museum of Cornwall.
