That bonsai walk is so elegant. Beautiful trees in a simple classy setting that enhances them. Like paintings in a museum.

Peter it’s always a pleasure to see the trees at Wisley they are looking splendid, the whole of Wisley is a picture of health, the wild flower meadow also looks lovely, we don’t grow enough wild flowers in the U.K. councils would rather use concrete. Thank you.

Peter, what an honor and selfless act to provide your masterpieces which you have donated and continue to maintain. Bravo sir. Truly honorable what you have done. Huge fan and thank you for sharing. Hopefully someday I can visit your nursery and meet you, let alone take a walk at the Herons Bonsai Walk. Respect from NYC a Greek American.

Wisley in my opinion is better than Kew Gardens. The bonsai at Kew when compared to Wisley are non descript. Many amateurs have better trees in their collections than those displayed at Kew. I love the Herons walk and admire the skill of the stall that look after the trees. Great video. Thanks.

I've been to Kew Gardens a few years back my very first time upon another UK trip. Needless to say that I was blown away and spent the complete day there to walk through, rest, admire, contemplate. Visiting Wisley in the future and experiencing the Herons Bonsai Walk would certainly be a top priority on my list (just second to visiting Herons itself) and warrantor for a good day. Thank you so much for showing! PS: My son (2 years nearly) loves playing with gravel too! 😄

I assume some care to these trees is done by the park/garden administration. Or do you just drop the trees there and check them every other week? Such an amazing display of nature and beauty. Xiè xiè, from the other side of the pond.

In Pennsylvania USA we have a place called longwood gardens that recently got a huge donation of money and trees from one of the most prominent Bonsai collectors in the US. They are building a new building just to house he trees, it will probably be the best public display in the USA.

I recently got a Ginseng Ficus bonsai as gift. But the pot unfortunately has no drainage hole in it. What do i do? Should i still not repot it? I live in a tropical climate with temp around 30 °C. Please advise me on it..
