I have a 40 year old maple tree in a container in my entry way. It seems to be ok? It has been in the same pot for the last 35 years or so. It is 40 inches from top to surface of the roots. I need some help with it. It seems to keep living and I keep snipping here and there to my hearts content. I do a leaf clip up and down the little bugger when I feel like my tree is hungry for fresh sugars and such. Out pops those sweet little leaves about half the size and a shinny reddish/rusty/greenish glittery dawnish dewdroping sweet yawing good morning.

Peter, thanks a lot for your videos. I made some maple forests following your guidance of previous videos. I also learnt how to prune their roots thanks to you. No I was thinking if you could show us how you make those beautiful fiber glass slabs. So that we can put our new forests in a proper place. I hope it is not too much of a request. Thanks a lot for everything!!

Always a treat Master Chan, it's your fault now I am going crazy over maples. Nice timing on the maple, finally gave up on my prized maple and binned it, must have froze or too dry, my large one that was broken on one side needs a trim, nice to see the choices, trying to hold off and get some growth on the broken side but I am afraid that with all the heavy leaves it will hasten the inner growth and ramification if I don't get some light in there, it's in full bloom, have to do some research and see can I trim it now or wait till fall.

I know this is probably a hard question but you should do a video on if you had to pick one tree (or maybe two ha), that you have worked on forever or felt most proud of can you show it to us.im sure theres plenty of them but something so symbolic that you have worked on for how many years. That would be special . Thanks, I love watching your videos.. i got a "set" of 4 different "japanese maples" a while ago (they are not even pre-bonsai, just around 30 cm high rooted cuttings), and i cleaned up the roots and bound them together in a training pot with good soil, so i hope over the course of the next few years they form something nicely).. after watching all your videos, i should have made them into a landscape instead of binding them together, but that could possibly be a next project.. ..just out of curiosity about the comment around 0:27 .. do you take right arms for payment?
