I have a couple of thoughts. Hero Wars is very much about optimizing your effort to get the best returns. The old hero way had definitive steps each day with a little wiggle room if you wanted to pay a few gems. Each step on the way was easy to get to and you knew you'd get one or two segments each day. The new one is near the opposite. Steps are sporadic and tied to tasks intended to be optimized by whales. aka thousands of outland chests. For the free-to-play or low-budget players, that sense of control is stripped and you are left feeling like you're picking up crumbs while watching the whales gorge. This comes off as they are courting whales even harder, trying to suck every dollar they can get their hands on made worse by the recent Laura event where free-to-play can't even finish the event and are drip-fed content one or two steps a day. What to do about it? This company has optimized this game to make as much money as possible. All they care about is maintaining just enough content players for the whales to have fun with. What they will be eyeing is the bottom line. If profits increase due to the change, it will be maintained as is with minor tweaks. It is only when the bottom line doesn't follow their projection or they get more pushback than they expected that change will happen. That being said, the only control you have is your pocketbook. If you don't pay them and enough others don't, the price will go down or the process rethought.

Reason I bought the $40 pass was I wanted the rune spheres that are repeating at the end… however it’s so tough to reach the end that I’m feeling very ripped off and will probably pass on buying heroes way at all going forward

@HeroWarsCentral from i know the price jump is 3.5x so it is not just double price , it's multiply by 3.5 for me old price was 22 and now it's 85 in my currency

very disapointed on hero ways ...today titan brawl same story higer ponits on spending emeralds ....i used to buy basic golden pass and completed 90 plus level and got good rewards and heros way coins 50k with that i used to buy small skin stone chest daily now cant do that ...progress will be harder than before sad to see such a bad decision

I was able to do 100% of the tasks 99% f2p ... now to do the same i would need to spend 90k+ gems. Are you forced to do so? Off course not. But then now it is a whole trmptation game in an attempt to fleece the player. And at tge same time we have the lara croft fiasco. Which gives barely any energy, and if you accidently attack without setting up your team you lose that hard won energy. The worse on top of the bad. .... now it gets to the point where its a case of principles. You had a system you could do, with some crestivity with almost no extra costs. And now it has been replaced by a checkbook system.

@@ivandraken3391 yes it is returned now, i think i lost it one fight at the very beginning on one account. i could be wrong, but one account is steadily 50 energy behind, but in the mean time i noticed you do not lose anymore. so at least thats a positive.

Charlie, can i confirm you have changed your position on this - you were confident that 'free' meant even F2P would get to level 40 in the 28 days. I know data is limited but its day 12 now and it hasnt changed - do you agree now that level 15 or so is the limit for everyone not prepared to buy 1200 outland chests etc - golden pass or not?

If you have the money and you are willing to pay for it, a good advice would be to wait to the last days and see if you reach the end. Then you can buy it knowing that you completed all tasks. Otherwise you can just skip it

BS! Sorry, but I bought The Heroes Way this month, just to find out that each and every day one must spend tons of emeralds just to progress through the already bought event! Furthermore the most important part of progressing (the 105 point you could get using 21 different heroes in the arena) was only the first day of the event. For instance: just today: if I want to progress just 1 day of the event (after already spending emeralds in the tower), I must spend another 10000 Emeralds to get 35 points+50 points+50 points+75 points to pass the 145 points I need to advance just 1 step in the Heroes Way.

The price went from $5 to around $500 (you will have to spend several hundred thousand emeralds to complete it). Do not buy this pass, it's a trap!

my suggest: 200 large skin stone boxes minimum, esp if your account has never winterfested before if your top 5/15/25 aren't blue starred I'd be looking real long hard and talking with your wife about which of them is close enough to justify a soul box then dump the rest on skin stones ilybbqt 🤸🏼‍♀️ (also friggin Titan tab on heroes page and pet/clash vendors in market page already 📑🤬🌡️) 🏹
