@Darkstar xD the game's not even oout, the devs specifically said the final release will only bear about 10 percent of similarity to it. Besides, the teaser was not a demo, it was barely a pre-alpha version. Off with your whining.

@@SupremeLeaderKyloRen The remake had a lot of issues, but it did some stuff right. That's to be expected though, since they were specific about this being a rough collection of stuff they had ready at the time, meant specifically to gage what fans think about it and what they need to change. This is probably the best thing that can be done with a remake like that, and I find it very reassuring to know they actually went out of their way to let the community know what they are doing and give it a chance to course correct them before they commit too hard in any particular way. More studios should be doing this, assuming they will actually listen to what people have to say. That is not to say I will blindly trust them and buy the game day 1, I don't do that ever and will not make an exception for this game, but so far they've earned a good chunk of good will from me.

Because if you are into gothic and follow news about it you should know that "the demo" was a test for players to elaborate how they will continue with developing the game. There are some german interviews where the developers talk about that. So you shouldt (really) not judge based on the "demo". At the moment it's completly different from back then.

Well, Herr Mannelig is originally a folk song and there's definitely a folk spin in the famous In Extremo version, while the Witcher (books, games, series, all the things...) draws heavily on Slavic and Germanic folklore, something the games' soundtracks are obviously influenced by, so it's easy to see how that could be. Also, the Witcher games have been influenced in many ways by Gothic, so the instrumentation of this medley might be a sort of nod to that? Anyway, both series have wonderful tunes!

Hallo Roman Heuser. Erst einmal möchte ich mich an dieser Stelle für die grandiosen Terranigma Interpretation bedanken. Auf langen Fahrten zu Geschäftsterminen sind sie fester Bestandteil meiner Playlist ^^ Auch diese neue Version von Herr Mannelig ist gut gelungen und wertet das Stück von In Extremo sehr auf. Wenn es so in einem Remaster von Gothic 1 auf der Bühne gespielt würde wäre ich begeistert. Als reines Musikstück finde ich jedoch die Gothic Einspielungen von etwa 4.14 bis 5.35 min zu gewaltig und grell, in etwa so als würde man ein weiches Kerzenlicht erwarten aber eine 120 Watt Glühbirme bekommen (Ja ich weiß, ein schlechter vergleich eines Laien und total meine eigene Meinung. Also bitte nicht schlagen ^^) Dagegen finde ich die ruhige Einspielung von 6.05 - 6.15 min gut und stimmig. Mein Interesse und mein Abo hast du jedenfalls ^^

Hey, vielen Dank für dein Feedback! Toll zu hören, dass dich die Musik sogar privat begleitet! Zu deinem Hinweis bzgl. des Gothic-Themes: das kann ich gut nachvollziehen! Meine Idee war es, das Gothic Theme mal in ein Filmmusik- oder Trailergewand zu stecken und zu schauen wie es klingt. Hier in der KZbin-Version ist mir aber (vielleicht auf Grund der Kompression) bspw. der Chor etwas zu laut, das klingt in der unkomprimierten Wavedatei etwas anders und stimmiger. Es wird aber sicher nicht die letzte Version des Gothic Themes sein, an der ich arbeite (kleiner Spoiler ;)). Danke jedenfalls für dein ausführliches Feedback!

Под такую музыку можно такой синематик забабахать по Готике. Взять все вкусные части композиции и сделать синему про поход в храм Спящего. Как ГГ прорывается сквозь нежить, краулеров, фанатиков. А перед самим спящим, где безумные послушники ,ГГ рвется прямо на ватагу секстантов под предводительством демона и Бах -просыпается. Первая ночь в колонии, барьер мерцает и камера устремляется на звезды(все это под конечную спокойную часть). Короче идей много, было бы желание
