I got HoRB and 4/4 her gear with just 22k crystals 😭 I was ready to skip her cause I thought that I won't have enough to get her full set, but I still took the gamble as I still dont have any reliable physical valk and it paid off. After using HORB for a few days, I found a major issue (at least for me): Gather. Seele's only useful gather skill is when she is on dps mode. When you are using her as support, you need either an elf or your DPS to have gather. In this case, Dream Weaver. Gather is one of the greatest skills of HOS and she has multiple ways of gathering enemies. This is why you can put her in any physical team and she works with utmost efficiency. In the case of HORB, it appears that she is only efficient when supporting Dreamweaver because DW takes care of gathering the enemies. If you use HORB with a different DPS, gathering mobs can be challenging. A bit disappointed with this aspect of HORB as it appears she is too dependent on DW. Oh well, at least HOS is still relevant for physical teams 😊

Another support can be used for gather . terminal aide is best for that as her ultimate gathers and then you can super regen for dps spike

Hotr, senti should cover you for physical supp, hotr can act both as ice dps(pair with pardo) and upgraded fire/lightning support

As long as you're not in nirvana, you should be able to survive in abyss with HoS HoTr is almost mandatory because of how versatile and strong she is She can be a decent ice dps and a lightning and fire support (you'll want to use her specially in fire teams, Fischl can cover her role in lightning)

See your crystal and pity. Horb has no special supply this can cost you tons of crystal to full gear. Like if you are just planning to pull the valk without weapon, then just keep using HoS. Do you have mpe with her gacha bow? If no, then if you get horb with weapon, you will have a good psy physical dps.

Also I read in your other comments, but what do you mean by special supply? I've already experienced bad gacha luck with HoFinality where I had to pull like 160 pulls for 4/4 (not including the valk) 😭 , so if it's the same I should probably avoid it.

tried her, I really like her gameplay, but I feel her last bit of rotation clunky because she sometimes can miss her attacks and not build up Herrecher charge in time for the charged attack right before the support buffs end (counting that you let the weapon skill go until completition). The timing is too tight, I wish she was 1s faster you can feel it especially now with Aponia in abyss, you basically miss the timing half of the time, I hate it. Perhaps one day a new Senti set/weapon can prolong her boosts and make Seele eaiser to play

Nah you just need to do rotations, don't need to think too much about it. It's at most like doing basic combos from fighting games with no actual complexity like spacing, timing, hit box consideration etc. since it's all auto targeting, i-framed and you can buffer for seconds.

Because my luck has gone down the drain anytime I go to pull the battlesuit first and gear afterwards, unfortunately. Save for a few exceptions, but still. Support units are the only time it has worked well for me and that’s bcs most of the time I don’t have to worry about pulling for the suit, ironically enough 😅

Also, 35k crystals was not guaranteed to get you full gear set, you still got lucky in the exact same sense as before you were unlucky, meanwhile it was guaranteed to get you a valk. Valk pity is at 28000 crystals, gear max pity is 56000 crystals.

For people in the replies, let me tell you one thing. They did the right thing by going for the equipment since expansion banner pity will carry over, but focused supply pity doesn't. If you don't have enough crystals to guarantee everything, it's always safe to go for the equipment first and save for the character when they have a rerun

Divine Prayer is a farmable A-rank that provides impair, but it’s single target and provides nothing else like sp recovery or dmg buffs. A triple support team of horb support form with prometheus and carole would be better than using horb dps form with divine prayer. You can still use horb dps form solo in ER

About the "HoS is not free" when making the comparison: every year we got a free herrscher, usually few months after she was in bp. The last was HoT and the next in release order is HoS. So in few months HoS will probably be literally free. Having said that i can totally see Mihoyo releasing a new valkyrie for senti one day in the future, she is just too popular with fans (both world and in china) to let her become obsolete.

So in honkai newer supports = bigger buffs, faster execution. And the latest two physical sp supports are prom and griseo. Carole advantage is her typing so if the enemy is bio (like aponia, or sk abyss mobs) then we would prefer her over griseo for damage

I have a question. So I did aponia MA with HoRb support, prom, and ely, and all of them have their signature stig full set at lv 50 and their signature weapon / PRI. However, under HoRb ult, my ely never crit, all grey numbers. Did I do something wrong?

Ely is psy, aponia is bio. Because of type disadvantage, your dmg number will be grey. You are critting, but it will always be grey
