Hi Russ, it's nice to hear you discuss Herrschner's . I just came from there actually, I saw a bunch of stuff I'd like but ended up ordering a pretty afghan kit that was very inexpensive for Christmas.I did get a few dollars off but still had to pay postage. it was still a good deal in my book. I like that company very much and usually if I cannot afford some yarn they do have something I can afford. If you want to discuss the wegovy thing I'd be happy to discuss that with you. I had a very difficult time on a similar medication and landed in the er, and ended up in ICU after that. So it may be a blessing in disguise. Thank you for the info about the membership. I mostly look for the least expensive yarn there and use it to make blankets. I am glad you showed some of their yarn in this video so I have some idea what their yarn is about. I'll send you a note to your email giving you my contact info if you want to talk about that medical situation. I hope you are having a nice weekend. I enjoyed your live with Juan and Craig and your other friend last night. :)

If you use a light gray dark gray black teal or Turquoise that works. another version would be lightish green soft blue a very light purple ish with a teal would work

Can you tell me if your mini hank blanket started as a twins in a stitch is a granny square, a granny square that you altered to a rectangle or did you start it as a rectangle? Lastly, (I'm sure you've probably said this before), but I'm new and catching up...what size crochet hook are you using? Honestly, you are creating an heirloom quality piece. 😊

thank you for the questions 🥰 So the first question is it was always going to be a granny turned into a rectangle and fit to my full sized bed. The yarn being sock yarn and so thin and only 24 yards to a hank I want to use as less yarn per granny stitch I could, make the yarn go further. So that's where the 2 double crochet stitches come about. I do 2 double crochet stitches chain 1 move on to the next hole space the corners I chain 4 to keep symmetry and the corners not so tight. so I put 2 double crochets in the corner chain 4 then 2 doubles same stitch to turn the corner. 2nd question is a 3.5mm hook lol I hope this answer the questions if nit ask me again lol I will get it right eventually lol.

it's from herrschners it's the 2-ply afghan yarn in the gradient yarn packs. Right now as of 7/8/2024 they are 12.99 a bag, you get 8 skeins of yarn. Keep in mind this is a #2 fine weight yarn 100 percent acrylic. You would use a 3.5mm crochet hook and a 3.5mm knitting needles. the 2 ply afaghan yarn from herrschners is all acrylic and is so soft. it's a very thin yarn it's a sock weight yarn. beautiful colors

I found out about Herrschner's yarn on a random KZbin video and I was tickled pink to find out im about an hour away! My sister and I adventured there and we loved the store! I was not aware of a catalog or becoming a member (i saw this on your video of their truck clearance from a few months ago) does anyone know if there's in store advantages to being a member?

@@itsrainingyarn I went on the website and poked around the membership part, but didn't see anything specific to in-store, the verbiage seemed a bit more to online/phone orders, BUT it said something about a card.. so it makes me think, why would you need a card for digital/phone orders? So I wonder if they do honor it in store, but just don't outright reference it on the site. Either way, I am sure to have another trip there, with you talking so highly about their store brand I may have to try it out. (I'm favored towards Red Heart, so my sis and I both left with huge bags of Red Heart). I just picked up cross stitch recently and the store is now doubly calling to me 🤣
