I have a doubt mam How they grown Radioactive Bacteriophages without host they can't Replicate know? Then How it is possible mam please give me answer

Good question 👏 Ans: In the first step of the experiment, phage DNA was made radioactive by growing infected bacteria on a medium containing radioactive phosphate and radioactive sulphate separately. The medium contains phage particles and bacteria grown in radioactive medium, where it allowed to infect bacteria. So inside bacteria it will replicate during which it takes up radioactive phosphate and sulphate which is present in respective medium. In the next step, they allowed both kind of labelled phage particles to infect E.Coli bacteria separately.
