For what your wanting to accomplish in your road trip videos. Class B is the way to go. You can find older used models that basically work the same for half the price. I have an 02 Roadtrek. Whether its city parking, boondocking, or state park parking. The Class b will take you just about anywhere mobile. Thanks for sharing. Happy Trails..

It is a deal breaker for me NOT to have a sink in the bathroom. Here's the scenario; my spouse poops then touches the doorknob to get out of the bathroom. The next step is to wash hands in the kitchen sink where I am preparing dinner. Or, the other scenario, I am cooking breakfast and all food is on the sink/range area. My spouse comes out of the bathroom to shave and brush his teeth, remember, where the food is being prepared. YIKES! No way would I have a bathroom without a sink. Just my preference, but the above says why I feel that way.

Neither of the Ontour layouts, 2.0 or the 2.2, come with a front lounge because the driver seat in current Ford Transit chassis rotate or swivel. We’ve heard that Ford is planning to offer a swivel driver seat maybe next year, but PW is cautious about what they say they’ll do in the future.

Not sure I am all that enthralled by induction stovetops simply because they seem to think that it a big upgrade and charge a lot for them. These can be bought for under $100. I like Winnebago's idea where they combine them with a propane cooktop. Although I think it better to have a propane range with a real oven, unlike those crappy micro/conv units they try to pass off as functional. Plus if I want I can just go out and spend $100 for a simple induction cooktop

I have to agree. PW is very proud of their expensive habits. If I'm spending that kind of money, I'll just get the Travato KL. I really love PW build quality, but they are just falling behind on innovation (not that there is much out there in the US market that is innovative, but still!). Comparing list price doesn't mean much. Travato KL's list around 155K, but dealers regularly take off 25% just to start, while PW dealers take 10% off at best. So the real cost is about the same or even less for the Travato... with much better battery life. Arguments can always be made about build quality, but I can't find anyone who complains of Winnebago Class B quality issues. I have found issues with other parts (motors in the PW sofa or fridge issues), but not the actual build.

Yes it does. I have seen others who own this in videos and they all say it will drain the batteries fast. It just does not make sense to me why they use them. You already have propane on board for the furnace/water heater why not use that? And only one burner is just silly. The only real upside to them is that they do not put anywhere near the heat into the room a propane stove would.

Expensive and that's without the glossy cabinets! They've taken out propane fridge and stovetop, so now it's sucking even more electrical. Have they upped their lithium battery or still just two with 2000w inverter? If no increase, then the air conditioner will last even less time. Do you know if they plan on increasing this anytime soon? Even with such a high build standard, without real battery backup, it's just out of the running for a modern RV.

I don't see Pleasure Way wising up and building a van like the Leisure Van WONDER with rear storage for bikes and FOLDING RECUMBENT TRIKES like the HP Velotechnik Scorpion FS or the Scorpion PLUS. This is the future for class B RV's. They must have garage room for storing folding electric bikes, folding bikes, and FOLDING RECUMBENT TRIKES.

I wouldn't give 10 cents for direct injected motor. Eco boost motors are junk unless you like swapping heads every 50 thousand miles or thick carbon on your intake valves.

If you don't put a lot of mile on a vehicle you will most likely never get to 50k miles. And if you do put a lot of miles on a vehicle the injectors can be cleaned, although admittedly at a significant cost. Most likely most won't clean them more than once, if that. Look at Robert, after five years he has put around 30k miles on his RV.

@@ronclark9724 T salinger 1026 most RV have very few miles on them unlike a car or truck. Even those who RV full time follow the seasons and come to a stop often therefore not actually putting on very many miles. Look at the ads at see the mileage on the older RV's, always low compared to a car of the same year. IF you can afford a $100k vehicle surely you can afford to maintain it properly.

Ford has added port injection to solve the build-up problems on their direct injection engines. I first saw this on the toyota 86 and subaru frz and wondered, they must have a very good reason to do this. This is before way before we started to hear about the problems with direct injection. First I heard about it was on the mini's and of course BMW's because that is who builds them. They were charging $800 to shoot walnut shells on them. bs Transit is definitely a light duty chassis.
