Herta, The Genius Hoarder | Honkai Star Rail Lore

Honkai Star Rail is inhabited by a whole cast of crazy characters and chief among them is the smartest hoarder in all of star rail, Herta. Herta, the genius hoarder is functionally an incredibly intelligent member of the genius society who has discovered and created many tools even going so far as to even reverse aging
But among Herta's many projects, the simulated universe is without a doubt her most ambitious. An artificially created universe developed through the efforts of 4 genius society members all with the singular goal of figuring out the mystery that shrouds the Aeons and the paths they follow. What exactly is Herta looking to accomplist? This is what we will be discussing in this video as we explore the lore about Herta, the genius hoarder.
Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

She is only the one char which hoyo doesnt want reveal so fast and didnt talk about her too much . And more importantly when we try to reveal her true identity ,always hoyo make for us another false information about her which we lose a track of our main goal . But we know for sure she is the one of this chars ,which will be have a great playrole on the end thats the fact.❤

I agree that Herta's kit is the worst atm despite being an Emanator but what Herta we can play is just a poppet version of her, which simply states that it doesn't have any blessing from the Eon... Just gotta cope that the real Herta will be playable in the future with atleast decent kit even if she's a 4star.

My Guess about why Herta is a Eminator of Erudition is because her pursuit of knowledge is almost the same as what Nous is seeking.... The Truth of the universe In herta perspective the answer lies on the aeons themselves... While perhaps To Nous the answer lies upon all the inhabitants of the universe... This explains why Erudition is an AOE dmg dealer in the game. My Guess is Only herta or few others are eminator of Erudition. Herta is an eminator cuz she seeks what nous seeks too which is enough for Nous to gaze at her & give her its attention.... Since the Genius society have their own field of knowledge pursuing... In Herta case its the truth To herta only what she seeks matters she doesn't give a fck about Aeons status of being gods she doesn't care. Thats why she gives the most disrespectful thing she can do by creating the Simulated Universe that turns aeons into her answering machine... she did the biggest middle finger to all Aeons through Simulated universe XD

I don't think it's meant to be disrespectful since the Simulated Aeons are close to the real Aeons. Those Aeons still have a Mind of their own ans are just as unlikely to talk unless you are seen by them as Akivili. And even their they are still enigmatic.

Don't u think its awfully blasphemous to simulate a data copy of your god? For example What if Someone Simulated the data of Jesus Christ, Buddha, & Allah to try replicate the original for their own means?.... All I can see is religious war happening

@@herrscherofascendance52 Uh huh. Except these aren't. It will be a copy anyways not the real thing. Granted. Herta made the closest simulation of the Aeons as she could. The fact they are just as elusive as the real Aeons is already a Middle finger back at her since she needs them to be like the Aeons to get answers not easy to control copies. Add in the fact only Aha an Aeon she dislikes a lot further mocks her by being Always aware that it's a Simulation. Honestly I feel simulated Universe was her attempt to learn about the Aeons only to be once again stumped by their elusiveness and the Universe refusing to cooperate even in a Simulated form.

I think she wants to know how those aeons became aeons by simulating the universe to make someone an aeon. Inside Simulated Universe we gain blessings from aeons, and whenever we have those blessings we kind of becoming close to being OP. I watched yesterday a video from Smug that he has blessings from Destruction and then he got all the blessings of Perseverance (or the opposite) and he easily defeated Svarog only using Fire MC. Fire MC seems unkillable, more like being close to an aeon. As of now in the lore nobody knows how an individual or a sentient being becomes an aeon. That is why she does not want to give-up the Simulated universe (even if Screwllum would like to stop at some point) because she is very interested in it and the result that she is expecting, which is making someone an aeon, or close to becoming an aeon. Or, yeah, maybe she just wants to learn more about the aeons and their behavior.

I think the simulated universe is only possible because Herta is an emanator. I’d assume the powers in which the Aeon of erudition grants have to do with some sort of computing power. It’s a giant computer, it just makes sense, idk what other powers it’s going to be granting. And idk how you’re going to simulate an entire universe, including the knowledge of gods, without the power of a god computer that has the power to process that. That all being said… I have a feeling that the Aeon of Erudition is already miles ahead of the simulated universe and the information it provides. I’d assume it’s kind of like Qiploth (idk if I spelled that right). The IPC has the same goal… but the resources they contribute are never even used by the Aeon because they’re kinda useless. He’s miles ahead of the IPC when it comes to wall building, they barely help. However, I’d guess some people in the IPC are emanators of preservation, simply because their goals are so aligned with building walls. It doesn’t necessarily mean they have much to actually contribute, that’s just kinda how things play out so far. There’s nothing that the emanators do that the Aeon couldn’t do themselves in the blink of an eye and with little effort. So yeah, while I think Herta is a genius, I don’t think any of the geniuses actually contribute anything worthwhile for Nous (idk if I’m spelling that right either). He’s most likely thousands of years ahead of them in knowledge, the same way Qiploth is with the IPC with walls. My guess is that emanators are more like very little chess pieces rather than people who are contributing much to the Aeons. I think when Aeons take direct action, they attract the attention of other Aeons, risking conflict and death. So instead, they set up all these little chess pieces to influence the universe in small ways until eventually the scales tip in their favor and they can make bigger moves. I don’t really think all emanators are people most aligned with a certain path. That one Aeon made a worm an emanator and granted it a ton of power. I think a lot of the Aeon’s emanate people who can tip the universe in their favor, whether they match their paths or not. I think Herta’s goals are pretty far from Nous’s. As well as a lot of the people in the genius society. Not many of them want the truth of the universe. Herta serves more of a goal of entertainment than knowledge. She aligns more with elation if anything imo. She just finds that elation through knowledge. So yeah, that’s my take.

In addition to thinking of Genius Society members/Emanators of Nous as parallel processors for improving its own performance, one could think of them as component sensors in an array. Individually, they may not contribute much to advance Nous's understanding of the universe, but working in tandem they may paint a picture with greater scope and detail.

The things is we dont really know what blessings even are, it could be as you mentioned a gift or power specific to the aeon itself like Nous granting brain or processing power but it could just be pure energy like maybe humans normally have only 20% battery capacity but an emanator has 100% and they can wield that energy however they wish. I wont be too surprised if Nous was ahead of pretty much everyone and even for me im thinking its just a minor backup plan for Nous to entertain these geniuses though what im kinda curious is what exactly is Nous trying to answer, its kinda like in hitchhikers guide to the galaxy where without the right question the answer to the universe, life and everything is just randomly 42. So there must be one question its trying to find an answer to otherwise imagine if it just tried to answer the secret to everything and just not being able to because the question itself is just too vague. Perhaps it could also be that the humans are used to ask the question, since we know that every emanator of nous gets a key to its temple and all they do there is ask questions.

1.Keep in mind silver wolf and kafka had access to elio script. They will know if herta is not emanator. Unless it is not important enough to be included into the script. I.e aiden and elias salas. Which they simply said, Which they simply said they they dont know. 2. Beside herta, Zandar "one" kuabara also emanator of erudition as mentioned by himeko when she explaining Cosmic tree theory in the express. He is creator of both nous and genius society no 1 (its founder) 3. Nous dosent need genius society to unravel mystery. Acording to genius society data bank, only those you can escape from worldly curiosity will be accepted to society. 4th. The mystery is the dominion of mythos aeon of enigmata and apperently nous counterpart. Thus sooner or later erudition will clash with enigmata.

I’m more interested in the genius polka who killed most of the genius society and why herta is interested in her … her interest is more of …she had known polka or has something related to her ( like polka is her mother idk lol ) … plus polka is surrounded by mystery… i feel we will see polka or someone related to her in the story
