Now this is REALLY good!! As far as I can tell you guys putting this up in a lesson is both overdue and mandatory! So Cool!

I just bought a j200 standard vs, Rev. Gary Davis played on a j200. I just love how he plays with the tones of that big guitar, needless to say I have been looking for music to play on my guitar, and your lessons are very much appreciated. Thank you all @ TotallyGuitars. Regards, Mike

Good video. You can get the gist of what's happening here and spend time putting all the little pieces together from live performances, tabs, and other scattered content and figure the song out for yourself. It does qualify as a lesson, just not a full lesson, there's enough info given here in 3 mins to learn the song on your own time. But for literally 7 dollars you can have a full lesson which is easily the best hesitation blues lesson online. For the price of a big Mac meal you can have something so valuable. 30 years ago people payed WAY more for this kind of resource, whether it was vhs or DVD lessons, live lessons, or books. This is one of those songs that can stay with you for a lifetime and push your playing past stagnation, its obviously worth its weight in gold if you want to be good at this style of guitar playing. Glad I stumbled upon Hot Tuna and this video, gonna get the full lesson on this one, thanks!

I'm sure Reverend Davis played the F chord with his thumb on the low E string, not a bar chord.

This isn’t a lesson, it’s a commercial for a lesson. Try a more honest title.
