I have a pair and to me they are much more comfortable than your standard Jordan 4. I don’t see why there is so much hate for this shoe. People hate these but love SB’s. They are both chunky shoes and a different version of its predecessor.

after 30 I started prioritizing comfort and 200+ for a shoe that hurts just aint it for me. These are perfect. comfortable and pretty wearable for gym or work activities. 4rms are great dailies. Got the "black cats" and the NS greys for under retail ftw

These AJ 4 RMs are really comfortable. It feels like they have Zoom Air. No pinky toe rub. Why can't Nike make normal AJ 4's like these RM's? They're even more comfortable than the 4SB's. I could actually walk a day at a theme park with the RMs.

I have the same colorway you reviewed in the video. I love them! Let ppl hate it doesn't bother me. I think this shoe is what Jordan has been missing. They can't just live off of retros forever. This shoe takes the brand forward in a good way in my opinion.

I think it was smart to release the collab before the regular model. I liked the Nigel collab but I knew I wouldn't hit for retail. The color ways are cool and it's a comfortable model

I have both the 4RMs and the Pine Green SBs, and i can tell you as a non skater, that the RMs seem WAY more skate friendly than the SBs and honestly should've been the actual SB "4's." The RMs are dope and the price point is great. Let people hate.

Nike SB are basically the skateboard version of AF1’s which we all love, so why so much hate for this shoe ? These are basically the REAL SB for Jordan 4’s. These are next level ! With the release of more colorways, more collabs, sooner or later they’re gonna do what Dunks did.

Tried them on in store. The only chunky part is the ankle collar. It’s so chunky it makes the rest of the shoe appear normal or narrow. This sneaker model could have done fine if the Jordan 4 name wasn’t attached to it. They fit true to size and look nothing like a Jordan 4. The midsole is the only tooling borrowed from the Jordan 4.

I disagree slightly i think they fit a little tighter than the average shoe and I don’t even have wide feet. Tried on my true to size (8.5) but returned it and will be getting a 9 tbh

The black ones arrived. Like them alot an will be getting this colorway aswell. I'm into mountainbiking and might even give them a spin on my trailbike. Crazy padding. Like my drunk SBs. I did size up 0.5 and would recommend.

Certain colorways look pretty dope, but I agree that this doesn't really look like an AJ4 (besides the mid/outsole). It definitely looks "inspired" by the AJ4, but I don't know if linking it to the AJ4 name actually hurts the shoe or helps it. On one hand, by linking it to the AJ4 name you attract newer consumers in the way auto makers spin off new models of vehicles by linking it to legacy models (i.e. the electric Mustang that's more SUV than Sports Car). This also links it in a way that makes this shoe feel more "official" than a "Team Jordan" shoe. On the other hand, you alienate people who love the AJ4 and feel similarly that this has skewed too far from the AJ4 DNA. Will the price point be enough to get people on board? They're already discounting them, so I would say that there are more people who are in this camp rather than the former.

Almost every agrees that rm is dumb and it should have stayed bike air. But, I like this a bit more than the normal 4 they look real clean and minimalistic on feet with the sail adding a bit of pop to it. Not comfortable at all tho

As a not-younger guy i don’t get the visceral hate these shoes get. If you’ve been around for awhile you remember the excitement that stirred from the first few pairs of dub zeros, spizikes, and even 6 rings in the early mid 2000s. These remind me of those days when we weren’t flooded with retro releases and we looked forward to the things that dropped in between the retro releases that were few and far between. These aren’t revolutionary but I’ll take these over another [insert color] thunder 4s.
