Taco Palace? Never heard of it. I was 12 years old in 1975. The place at the corner of 169th and Kennedy was called Fabulous Hot Dogs. They also sold Tacos. We used to eat there every so often on the weekends. Best tacos I ever ate. It was connected to 3 Kings Bar. Used to walk past it every day walking to school. I started to go to Morton Middle in the fall of 1975. That was Drift in liquor store right across the street from it.

I would go to that place and bring tacos back to my Dad's store Lake County TV. He had that store there net to Calumet National Bank until they expanded the Bank and required him to find a new location.

It was called “Fabulous Hot Dog” but their tacos were more popular than their hot dogs.
