Nice, but it's very odd that the right wiring harness is so hard to find. Great work, good luck with the interior.

There are couple harnesses on eBay, but from GT4 only. I’m confused myself why it’s such a hard part to find despite there are so many wrecked caymans being sold at the auctions.

Good practice for fixing the Xmas lights 😀 Can you tell me the name of your wire stripper please? It looks like it saves a lot of time.

I guess mines are discontinued, but this is something better than the ones that I have - amzn.to/3gYP6Ml

I was wondering about car parts availability, like your engine harness - it seems 2000s cars car-parts are not in the pipeline anymore! I kind of panicked, when I saw the wheel bearings of w203/w209 (!!!!) are out of production. The production number must have been millions as this is the face of taxis I remember from Germany. I managed to secure a few OEM parts though third party (non-MB). Starting to wonder - will cars last 10 years tops from now on? 15 years and roll it to the junkyard? I mean, this affects millions of cars produced. Seems like a bad place to be

Speaking about the harness- dealers have it on special order for -$6-9k. Not an option for me)))
