I’m finding it hard to believe Hewick stands 16h high. He looks like he wouldn’t even clear 15h. What an amazing little horse. He must be all heart. Him and all those involved, nothing but heart.

I totally get Paddy and everyone in racing, worked in racing myself and have lost a few horses, it really gets you, so understand the love Paddy have for his horse. Hewick is a horse you oftentimes only have once in a lifetime, they are just so special, you just fall in love with them. He is such a beauty, he has a good racing head on him, see it in his eyes. Beautiful. x

Fantastic horse ,fantastic team .Its great to see a small stable have a superstar .Hewick maybe small but has a massive heart .Im an ex independant greyhound trainer and had many £100 dogs win races its a special feeling .Very best of luck guys ,you deserve it .

@@jimmydonnelly327 as much as i like hewick and the story and hope he does win but beat des champs? i dont think so man unless he falls, both have a fall so but Even on gd ground he has a win in 22 deep field on good/soft and that's the most the ground will give out over there. Without that fall he would already have 2 gold cups. He knows how to win there.. i think he'll win 3 gold cups before retires probably even 4. but without him i put hewick at the line with fastorslow

@@KypriosKing strongly agree with a lot of what u said there.,we're only 15 mins down the road from shark and Willie but we all root for the under dog.,I just think he has the powerful gallop over a long stretch that could push galopin all the way to the line.,but agree fastorslow is a serious operator and could easily sneak it.,let's just hope they all get around and home safe. hewick will need to find 3 or 4 lengths honestly but he has had a good rest so would expect him to go well but to be honest its the grand national next month im excited for he has a great chance only him and 2 or 3 others have won at over 3m5f outside of the grand national winners. which is maximus, rambler and valliner and noble yeats and hewick is the only one who has 2 wins at 3m5f. So with a good conditioning from gold cup to national i think he go close.
