The correct path is C. If you said that there is an acquired velocity parallel to the wall as the marble rides along it in the circular motion system, you are correct. If you said there is tangential velocity, you are also correct. Both of these velocities exist: the former because of the marble riding the wall, and the latter because of the uniform circular motion. These two velocity vectors add together to give a velocity with approximate path of C.
