I believe this is the answer: since 1 gram of 100 degree Celsius steam has 720 calories /gram (from steam to ice) and it takes 80 calories to melt 1 gram of ice, I took 720 divided by 80 and calculated that one gram of 100 degree steam should melt 9 grams of zero degree ice.
