Glad that you feel better. The marmots look identical to the woodchucks that raid my garden. The mile markers just aren't important to you so, you ignore them. Another good video. Good Luck, Rick

@@atalefromatrail8181 Neither. To get rewards from my labor, I used to have to shoot them. Fortunately, the coyotes, big hawks, and foxes have taken care of them. Woodchucks take the broccoli just before it is ready to pick and will even go on my deck to eat my potted plants. They're cute but, a pest. Good Luck, Rick

Awesome footage of the dance-fighting Marmots! Really surprised how close they came before scarpering. You guys must smell marmot friendly 😄. Oh and well done on finishing stage 2. Slowing down in the Alps is absolutely the sensible thing to do - those mountains are no joke. Just curious what the possible advantage of flipping would be? What exactly is the issue you guys think you will face by going slower? (And if you explained this in a previous video, just point us to that video and tell us to pay proper attention for once 😂)

Ooops. Yes I wasnt clear..With the slowing down we will face the winter and snow in the Pyrenees. By flipflopping we could extend the hiking period. Do the Pyrenees while it's summer and then the lower parts of stage 4 in autumn.
