I love later in the episode when Murray states that he is worried how many New Zealander's are mugged every day in NYC. Even though he tells them to always walk down narrow back alleys and always keep their maps open. Brilliant!!

The "HEY I'M WALKIN HERE!" Is the comedic equivalent of a jumpscare. No matter how many times I watch this clip, that line and his expression with the hat makes me burst into laughter. 🤣🤣

I know I am 4 years late to the party but that is so funking true. All of the main cast of FOTC are brilliant. Can't recall how many times I have rewatched the 2 seasons and events Bret/Jermaine have done. Love these guys and hope you are doing well sir @CleverMetaphor

@NxDoyle5 жыл бұрын
Actually, that's not true. Embassies and high commissions in major capitals can be large and in some cases "majestic", because they function as venues of state and diplomacy. But generally speaking, consulates are primarily administration centres. In some cases not even that. I'll cite the Irish Consulate in Los Angeles as an example. It's an expat businessman's residence. He's an honorary consul and doesn't even perform any administrative duties.

I hope you were being sarcastic to try and be funny.
While I would not presume to have the same comedy chops as these guys, the obvious low-hanging peach in response to Murray's "Would you rather get murdered?" is "Yes."
@WestHamBestie6 жыл бұрын
Nx Doyle New Zealand comedy is similar to British comedy, awkward and understated. Saying yes, as you said, is obvious. By not saying it, it’s funnier for us.
@robmckennie42036 жыл бұрын
I definitely would not have had them say yes, they're far too earnest and naive to say something like that
