Guthrie is not just a great guitar player and teacher, but also a very nice person. I'm inspired by his guitar playing. Someday, I will take a lesson from him. I hope people will realize that his lessons are more meaningful than just noodling around and flashy licks that you can't remember after watching. Guthrie's explanation is very clear and easy to remember. Thanks, Guthrie for sharing your gift.

The one lesson is better than 99.9% of all the guitar content on KZbin. Just the concepts and how to apply them, if you know the basic caged chords and major scale, and pentatonic shapes (maj/min), then this is an absolute gold mine of information. Not to mention applied to one of the most iconic songs in the history of rock music. I've gotten so much out of this, I can't thank you enough.

Back in 2010 I lost my business and everything with it, including my collection of guitars. I thought it was the end of the world as I lost my entity. Then, within time, I learned that life goes on and, if we are creative and do not lose faith, we reinvent ourselves again. I became an author and a teacher. If, hypothetically, all this was a nightmare and I woke up back in 2010, I think I would be disappointed. My new life is a blessing, once I got used to it, with no pressure and plenty of rewards for my efforts. Every 15 years or so, we must make a change, or the change will be made for us. Great playing and thanks for the lesson!

Good to see you brother. We are all in the same bucket. I just met up with my great friend who is a monitor engineer for Framton, Ringo and a couple other big acts... He came out here to Colorado for a couple weeks and climbed a few mountains... I was able to catch up with him for a few hours and it was really good for both of us. Musicians have been devastated by this "break in the action" probably worse than just about any segment. Most are living gig to gig and can't lean on waiting tables, or working part time because all those gigs are jacked up too. Stay as positive as you can. We are going to get back to "normal" before the year is over. Take care and have a great visit with your family and friends.

It's just as difficult for us as fans ( who also play a bit of geetar). I've been going to shows since the mid 90's and this might be the first summer that I've not been able to go to shows. The last show I saw was Phish @MSG for their New Years Run!!! It's awesome to get to see some of.my favorite artist doing some online streams as well as releasing new music. I was looking forward to spending this summer between Dead & Co., Being 25 years since Jerry passed, as well as Phish tour, celebrating my 200th show seeing them as well. Not to mention all the other music we catch along the way. Missing my tribe, the sunsets behind the stages, late night 🌙 jam sessions, New friends and family. It's all much more, these bands and songs have been the soundtrack of my life. Its, at times, the only times I get to see certain friends across the country. Music changed my life. Never did I think I would still be doing this 25 years later. While my friends were playing Nintendo and such, I was listening to albums, while they were into hair bands or boy bands, I was discovering Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, and the Grateful Dead! Just know Guthrie, us fans miss it as much as you do, and hopefully one day soon I'll be blessed to come and see you play. Rock 🎸on
