The lesson for this song is amazing value - I think people forget in this day and age that a standard music lesson with a teacher costs anywhere from £30-£50+, which in most cases won't be enough time to cover an entire song. Not only do you have access to tabs (which for the rhythm especially are difficult to use unless you watch the accompanying vids) but the theory and thinking behind chord changes and improvisation. Much respect for putting this together mate!

Notes super articulate and your bending is world class. You make even the simplest phrase sound so damn good with those bends. Really good stuff. Definitely picking this lesson up! Happy New Year bro! Bring out more content for 2021, man! We need more of your videos. Even like a live looping session where you just improv and solo over the top in this style would be epic. To all those people dreaming of being able to play like this, just keep practicing. Don’t try to play through the whole song right away. If you have a looper record that clean chord progression and practice over it a few bars at a time. When you feel confident with that section move on to the next few bars, and so on, and so on. You’ll start to recognize techniques and tricks that other players use too. Once you get to that point you’ll have the muscle memory and you won’t really need to think about it or struggle because it’ll almost come naturally. This is a bluesy Hendrix/srv style. If you start practicing other styles you’ll notice they use a lot of the same styles or tricks as I like to call them. Then you’ll be able to watch people and know what they’re doing just by watching their left hand. Once you learn your favorite solos they kind of lose the magic they once had, because you can play them yourself. I always loved the solos from the delicate sound of thunder cd. The turning away, dogs Of war , sorrow and especially the extended comfortably numb solo. So I got gilmours candy apple red 57 reissue and put the emg’s in it because I figured I’d be able To play like him if I had his guitar. That didn’t make me play like Gilmour so then I thought it was my amp. It was a crate something or other. So I got the line 6 pod 2.0 bean, and that kinda helped. (Shows how long ago this was) I dialed in a sound that was close to his delicate sound of thunder tone. So I practiced and practiced those solos for about 2 years. Kept rewinding the cd and listening to each lick over and overs. After about a year I getting those solos and sounding somewhat like Gilmour so I Just kept practicing. Once I was satisfied they almost weren’t all that impressive because I could play them. They couldn’t be difficult if I could play them. It was weird feeling. I guess I’m trying to say you don’t need to god like to play like your idols. Just keep practicing. The more you practice and learn their little tricks you be able To watch the players left hand and know what they’re doing. That’s when you’ll start learning faster and faster All the time. And don’t waste your money and buy a tube amp. You don’t need it. Buy a decent amp modeler. The best you can afford , and get a cheap harbinger PA system and run it through that. I recommend the 100 watt with 12 speakers. You can get a decent Moorer amp modeler and that PA system for less that a tube amp. Good tone does a lot to inspire you to get better.
