I love everything JM, SRV, JH and honestly, no bullshit, I've purchased the "everything" package from this guy and I'm blown away by the attention to detail and care this man gives to his tutorials. You really do get what you pay for. I'm working my way through Gravity at the moment and hope to have it nailed soon. The guys a genius. Have to agree with Jamie here- I bought the "Everything Bundle" and he covers the theory very well- using the CAGED system which is what this style is predominately based on- and he really brings it home. Devin Sparks- I think you need to go through more of the videos- the songs certainly do help with "applying" the theory- but he does a great job of breaking down where the progressions come from- how the chords are built etc. If you're a total beginner- maybe not the right course- but if you have some basics down- Jamie has your back...

I have four things in the courses on this - 1) A full video course going through in detail everything about my guitar, my amp, and every one of my pedals 2) In the ebook, there is a section where I recommend a gear rig for the budgets a) low b) medium and c) high 3) A comparison between $6500 worth of rig and $450 and 4) A separate ebook for each section showing you what gear I used in each section of each song I perform. I'm sure there's more than enough there! :-D

I purchased Jamie's "Crossing the Bridge" course at the same time I started his beginner course. Quickly looking at the CtB lessons I was initially overwhelmed having only 6 months guitar experience. I am now halfway through the beginner course and his more intermediate content now feels achievable to me. For a new player I find the beginner course gave me the tools to be confident that I can attempt more advanced playing. Of course there is much practice ahead of me but the point is that thanks to Jamie I can see the roadmap to advancing my playing to this style. I've also reached out to him with a question and was very surprised at the quick and encouraging response.

As Colin Mitchel said previously, this course is absolutely the best I've ever seen. I have been playing the guitar for 50 years and my attitude has been to "never stop learning." I have always enjoyed the solo guitar/singer arrangements. With Jamies use of a looper pedal combined with the arrangement of the songs, you don't need anything else. A microphone, guitar, amp, either hardware or software looper and you have everything you need. I understand he just released a free beginner course just a few days ago. So beginners have not excuses either. So far, I have learned Slow Dancing in a Burning Room and I shot the Sheriff. Our friends and family members have heard me play at least a hundred times, there were some jaw's dropping in my studio when I opened up with an incredible rendition of Clapton and Mayers songs. If you are serious about playing the guitar, go buy this course.
