Good job Neal! Sweet way to put it all into a nutshell, “I’m picking, I’m strumming, I’m filling up space” 😊 That’s what I strive to do too!

Just wanted to stop in and say hi. Thanks for all of your lessons. I like playing my guitars, but I love my little Mandolins. Actually, I think they are easier than playing a guitar. Just something about them.

I think they’re a lot easier than the guitar :) They essentially only have four strings, the tuning of 5ths makes the shapes and patterns so logical and the fact that everything is symmetrical is a game changer. You don’t have that pesky G string throwing off all your patterns like on the guitar. I found it a very easy transition coming from the 6 stringer :) Have a great day!

Hey there - I just found out that Blaze Folly is from my Dads hometown of Malvern Arkansas :)

@@COMANDOLIN I lived in Reno Arkansas for couple years. I didn't know blaze was from there. I never heard of him tell. Recently. I think he's a lyrical genius. Thanks buddy for checking into it. I appreciate a ton .. stay free and keep sharing with the rest of us. Otherwise I'd just have a mandolin but wouldn't be able to play it..
