The 259 caught fire a few weeks ago. Was only running it for 30 mins or so and it went up. Gotta drag it out of the woods and get it to cat. The 299 is nice for sure. Can’t figure out if I like it more than the 259😂 I like the lightweight and skinny footprint of the 259 but the power and hydraulics on the 299 are nice

Depends on local ordinances. Some places only allow 4in DBH others don’t have a limit. It also depends on zoning as well. But that being said the gyrotrac mulcher on the machine now can efficiently process 14 inch trees or even larger depending on how hard the wood is. Depends on if it is more affordable to simply cut the larger trees down and haul them away vs mulching them onsite.

Doing that and being productive are almost direct opposites. Will have film crew on some of the bigger jobs coming up and at least one camera operator going forward so the entertainment and quality should increase

10000% agree. Which is why I don’t pull permits. If a land owner wants it then they can. It is not my responsibility to force a free person to submit to the contract (and punishments) of a corporation operating under color of law. I can actually help my customers defend against tyrannical codes, statues, and any other “rule” the government wants to attack private land owners with. Fun fact: paying property tax is voluntary😂 you don’t have to rent your land from any government ever.
