The relationship with a trainer part is probably refering to Margaret Lovatt in the context of John C Lilly's studies on dolphins and it *didn't end because the trainer was caught* but because the study ended and they got separated. She didn't really do anything malicious it was just a fix to a problem they faced in the context of the study where the dolphin would get excitable and come on to her.

about the cats being dumber thing. the reasearch i remember, if correctly. the dogs used in the study were domesticated dogs. while the cats were random stray cats, picked up from the streets. to test intelligence both dogs and cats were made to perform tasks. as the dogs were domesticated, they did well with humans prompting them to do things. while the cats that were scared and anxious of human, being just picked up and bought to a strange place and confused as fuck, performed poorly.

I have been unfortunate enough to have vomitted and have diarrhea at the same time. I had become hooked on some tomato bisque I got in a grocery store deli to where I was eating it almost every day. Cats are actually really smart. My cat imitates human speech, specifically the syllables. When she wants sink water, she jumps on the sink and I taught her the word for “water”. To say it, she cries like: “mah-ah”. She’s also smart enough to tell when I’m sick or hurt. When I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out, I got an infection from the operation. They decided to try draining the infection while I was awake, and needless to say, I was nauseous and shaking after. My cat saw me in the bath tub, sat on the side of the tub, and then stuck her tail in the water. After a bit, she climbed in and laid on my chest. Keep in mind, my chest was beneath a few centimeters of water, so she went out of her way to get uncomfortable to cheer me up, and comfort me. Cats have also been proven to be able to learn just like dogs do. A few cats have been taught how to speak using talk buttons. Also, cats are notoriously clean and picky animals. For some cats, using certain brands of litter or changing their environment can lead to their discomfort. One of the most common behavior for cats is grooming, where they clean themselves with their tongue; a body part specifically evolved to reach where the strands of their fur meet their skin to untangle and clean it exactly like a brush/comb. The only thing a healthy cat should be doing with their poop is depositing it in a litter box, and then burying it (basically the cat version of flushing/cleaning up after themselves). The diseases cats can transmit are usually not present in cats that have received their recommended vaccinations and medications. Wild-born strays are more likely to have it than cats who have been rescued/raised by humans, and even then, shelter cats can have originated from the streets and still not carry the disease. Proper medical care makes a huge difference. Animals in general don’t eat waste unless they are diagnosed with a condition called Pica, in which they are compelled to eat non-edible items such as yarn or carpet; the exception being certain types of animals that cannot process foot as babies and thus eat food pre-processed by their parents (See sloths for example). I’ve noticed some of these scientifically accurate videos are inaccurate, such as the tmnt one, where they claim that they don’t have ears. Turtles do, in fact, have ears. They are simply holes in the sides of their heads, and don’t stick out. Turtles also are capable of making noises outside of hisses. As you mentioned in the video where you watched the tmnt scientifically accurate version, they are most famously seen being vocal in videos where they are mating. So, no, the thunder cats video is not completely accurate, if at all.
