I appreciate a home that is a mishmash of acquired pieces over time. I think it's so easy to adapt the mindset that you have to have everything right now. However, I think you can often lose out on finding your evolving style and it can end up quite generic and lifeless. And in that rush you can miss out on creating a warm home that is really a true reflection of you! So I say, well done, Mary! Your home is eclectic and full of life, character, fun and a whole lot of whimsy and charm. I would consider that a wonderful compliment to you and your reflection. And... I love this for so many reasons. One is because it's real. We can't all afford Z gallery which seems to be the youtuber trend lol Another is because it's different than that same old glam look with all the white and gold. I commented on another youtubers channel that her office was beautiful but I was tired of seeing the same office tour over and over. Needless to say she was offended lol and said she didn't think it was the same as everyone else. Anywho this is beautiful and I'm so glad you shared it because it gave me a lot of inspiration and also some encouragement to really "make things work" and embrace my own style.

Yeah sure if you're a billionaire you can just get an expensive piece of designer furniture and have it but that's boring.
