One hack I've learned is to have a small keyring light in every bag just hanging on the zipper. Toiletry bag especially is something you might want to go through without putting on lights or if there just isn't any light

One thing i have to pack is contact lens cleaner and case to store them when i take them out at night. But I always include an extra set of contact lenses, just in case something happens to the ones in my eyes. swimming/snorkeling, just popping out from dry eye, a contact tearing, ect, ive learned to pack a spare.

Also, contact lens cases are GREAT for holding different products. This is a well-known hack, of course, but it's worth mentioning in case someone reads this and hasn't heard it! I use that shit for extra face creams, eye creams, concealers, foundations, etc., but like Nadine, I like using face oils, acids, and sunscreen, for the most part!

One product I absolutely love is Bath&body Works No rinse body wash. It's technically meant for use like after going to the gym where you can't shower but it is AMAZING when traveling. On layovers or after flights I can just pop into the bathroom, spray a little on my hand and pat all the icky places (like armpits or feet) in that need it. No more feeling sweaty gross or sticky. 10/10 would recommend. The only downside is that it is part of their active collection which means I only find it during summer usually. I tend to stock up on it though because it's great to have anytime of the year.

Tide-to-go pen, hydrocortisone cream (in case of any rashes, eczema etc.), after-bite stick, tweezers, hand sanitizer, dental floss, aloe Vera after sun gel! That should do the trick along with some of the things you mentioned (I just do very limited hair products in comparison)👍🏽

I pack primarily an oil blend (coconut, jojoba, etc) in a little glass bottle with dropper. Good for detangling and moisturizing curly hair, conditioner, makeup remover, face and body moisturizer, toothpaste substitute in conjunction with essential oils. Little vials of essentials oils like lavender, clove, peppermint et cetera can be helpful for rashes (poison oak), disinfecting, cold prevention/recovery, headaches, stomaches, toothaches, mood lifter, de-odorizer (help endure smelly public places) besides general personal care. A small thing of hydrogen peroxide (disinfects) and cayenne (coagulates blood quickly) for little too. Then an all-natural, all-purpose soap like dr. bronners for body wash and shampoo or washing undergarments; sunscreen, deodorant, makeup, pre/probiotics to boost your immune system is helpful too.

I used dry shampoo on my most recent trip and it was life changing. My hair gets greasy pretty easily and I have long hair with no easy access to hair dryers. So being able to spruce up my hair and not wash all of it with the required time to air dry was super helpful. I use less conditioner than shampoo and I have different size bottles (recycled from old hotel bottles) for different lengths of trips. Unlike you I am very specific in my shampoo choice. It's not a fancy brand - but sadly one that was discontinued in the US - sigh, so anytime I'm in the UK I stuff my checked luggage on the trip home.

A favorite colored lip gloss, some of the Tide sample packs of laundry dtg that you can find in the minis section, blister bandages just in case your heels or toes get rubbed to death, lol. Feminine wash. Oh, and a mini baby powder for your shoes to keep your feet dry, smelling fresh, and from sticking to the inside of your shoes especially if you wear flats or leather sandals. Soap sheets. Cooling towel. That's just to name a few.

even being a more seasoned traveler it's fun seeing with others pack and if there's other ideas you never thought of before. great vid! I've now bought smaller refillable spray bottles for face toner/body spray/sanitizer that's even smaller than travel sizes you can buy, worth it. I like seeing that you also bring some full size items. I also like to try and travel mostly carry-on if possible and depending on the trip, so you can get a clear 1 quart bag for your liquids which is better than the cheap ones at the airport, but those have their place too. can also bring baby powder as dry shampoo. For any jewelry a small container with a lid. A collapsible cup if you don't want to use your hands after brushing your teeth for water. hairbrush, alarm clock, sea to summit sheet shampoo/hand soap. just in case or if where you're staying runs out because you booked the cheapest place possible. you can also get toothpaste tablets, it's an option.

I am so glad I do not need more than those basics. If I end up needing anything, I will just get it there. Do you pack this in your checked luggage or in your carry-on? Personally I like to keep my toileteries with me in case my checked bag gets lost, it's just that many airports in Europe seem to need us to put all liquids in a clear plastic bag of limited size and that ruins any notions of having a really nice toileteries bag like this with lots of organisation and features like hooks.
@heynadine5 жыл бұрын
You can usually by a clear bag that you put inside your toiletries bag, which is what I do if traveling carry on. Since you only need it for airports, then you can empty it and use the hanging bag for all the rest of the travels
