Caught my first Jack in the surf last week. Bled it, cleaned it and put it on ice. Filleted it removing the dark meat. Coated it in olive oil, seasoned with salt and pepper and then grilled it over lump hickory. It was EXCELLENT!

What a good day of fishing! That strange "sea monster" you guys pulled out looked like it could have been a small goblin shark, because they have projecting jaws that come out when they attack. Can't tell so well from the video footage, but the body looked similar to a shark profile as well. Very awesome vid!

what a blast fishing Cabo on the beach. As to the legs, ummmm, what did they do with the rest of the chicken? snickersnicker, just being silly, you both (plus mom-n-pop) keep me smiling while things are tough I really appreciate that. Decades back used to drive down Baja west coast to small fishing town/village south of Ensenada called Guerrero Negro. Camped on beach, made some wonderful friends with folks there. We shared our catches & they had fun cooking/parties with us. Did that for about a decade. But that started in mid-70s until mid-later 80s. So miss what great people lived there. Fishing was a blast, got time out on water with local fishermen on their boats. Learned so much too. Your vids of time in Mexico fishing bring back many smiles to my face, again I thank you for sharing your fun!

We caught 3 smooth pufferfish in off Corpus Christi south jetty on beach side and ate them fried. They are REALLY good. We just cut half down behind head and pull all back having none of the guts toughed and result just a mass of clean white meat. I would like some more of them, yum.
