Jeena, i know we are all different but i never bought skin care products. The only thing my mom used on our skin was soap and water and a thin layer of Vaseline. I am 72 years young and that is still all i use. My sisters are the same. People always ask me what i use on my skin and they don't believe me when i tell them just soap water and vaseline.

@@delphiablackburn5778I don’t use Vaseline anymore because it is 100% petroleum jelly. Instead I use Aquaphor. While it contains petroleum it also contains lanolin, glycerin, and mineral oil. It is more gentle and is also used for healing. It is awesome to use on baby bottoms with every diaper change.

Something I do for skin care is putting vaseline on my face at night and sometimes in the morning if I don’t have my bubble moisturizer also I wear the some skin care too❤❤😊

The skin under my eyebrows gets so dry. Happens to my children too. We use Cetaphil and Cerave as well. Makes all the difference.

Dr. Dray, a dermatologist with a youtube channel, recommends that if you use spray sunscreen you spray it in your hands, then apply. The reason is because of concerns about coverage, and that just spraying is likely not going to offer the protection you get from applying a sunscreen by hand. She has also said that washing your face in the morning, if you also wash it at night, is not necessary for everyone. It's dependent on the person. Just thought I'd share, in case you want to check out her channel. She tries out a lot of products, due to her channel, but she also emphasizes that you don't need pricey products, and that a lot of them are kind of useless if you have a good base routine. I think it's great you're helping the girls learn the importance of skin care, and that it does not have to be expensive or complicated.

Get a bottle of Jojoba oil for Dru, it's a dry oil that I put on my face right after I shower, it soaks in fast and is as simple as it gets! ❤

@HeyThereWilders lol, I get it, I thought maybe he was like me, and just wasn't into chemical lotions...I love Jojoba oil and Shea butter the most, even though my skin is pale like Dru and they're both African oils, I think that's why I tried them - hoping they could make my skin more like black skin, which seems to be more wrinkle resistant and less prone to skin problems, like my skin. Shea butter is so great for body lotion, if you miss a day you won't even notice, because it soaks in instead of washing off!

Please listen. Best way to healthy skin is good nourishment. If they have greasy skin why use moisteriser? Always choose natural products. Chemicals can result in senditive skin. And chemicals get absorbed through the skin.
