0:38 when Noemie asks Adele how to say "bath tub" in English and Adele with the straightest face ever replies earnestly "bath tube" I DIED. I also feel sad that at some point in the future Noemie will become aware of how to say women and men in English and stop saying "womens"; that will be a sad day.

it makes me really frustrated that we make these actors speak English - I feel like this happens a lot with French actors in particular but like, we all watched the films and read the subtitles. I would have no problem reading the subtitles for an interview as well so that the actors can converse, hear the questions, and answer in their language.

I feel like the answer Adèle gives at 5:05 about the feelings around goodbyes right now versus at that time ("I can not answer"), is the same smart, honest answer that Heloise gives Marianne on the shore, when she says she doesn't know if she knows how to swim. A sign that Celine Sciamma really managed to instill Adéle essence in Heloise character, despite them being so dramatically different. I personally would have answered "yes, of course" to the interviewer and tried to make up something, because I'm pretty basic.

I think so too... But then again, those who sorta bullies her who ain't French, well try learning her language and let's see which is more difficult to learn and speak.😀😁

@@Katrina-js7wt Oh, I thought the OP meant Noémie being bullied by Adèle? No? (This kind of bullying is meant as teasing within an friendship so I think Noé can bear it lol!) - Where is she being bullied by others? I didn't recognize it?!

Best thing of that bathtube moment is that the question was not even WHERE they were when they read the script but WHAT they thought!! (take a look at Adèle's face turning into a huge questionmark "what are you talking about??" lol!) - So thank you Noémie for getting that question SO wrong which was SO right!!

The finality question was spot on. I felt it as they said Goodbye.. You could know they were unlikely to meet again. That was heartwrenching.

Eu acho que a Noémie não cresceu em Paris. Adèle com certeza cresceu lá. É tipo São Paulo, cidade corrida.
