Paint job looks great, and yeah it's much better without that half cab thing. To remark on you wanting to remove the Chrome from the rims. Put them in a bucket or whatever and spray them with oven cleaner. Make sure you do it outside and with a respirator because that stuff is extremely toxic to breath. leave them in the bucket all day covered up. Spray them a few times throughout the process. You have to keep the bucket covered so the chemicals don't dry out.

I have already tried oven cleaner , it didnt do anything to the chrome , even after 24 hours , super clean worked the best

Yea thats what i thought , even used the extra strength easy off oven cleaner , i dont know what they are using for chrome paint paint in china but its tough stuff

Do you think the other RC4WD back cab part you showed (the tall one) will cover HG P407 opening?

It does , you may need to trim the bottom a bit to get the body over the hg frame

That looks super cool, how did you do the chrome work, I have difficulty to do that with spray paint, the tin say mirror chrome and super chrome but it is all silver

there is a product that is called molotow liquid chrome , it comes in paint pens and is a little expensive but it is the only "chrome paint " that i have ever seen that actually does what it says it will , looks like a mirror
