I hate a real estate agent like that. Basically he's saying, Buy this house. It doesn't matter that you'll have to rebuild it, as long as I make a sale.

I'm happy with their choice. Even though it was the most expensive, it had the best layout and was more move-in ready than the other two

Why do people keep saying something is dated - of course the fashion has changed but just wait and it will come around again.
@cocokai96617 жыл бұрын
Exactly! And all the "updated" changes they make will be outdated in a few years. No style is always 'in". Just look at granite countertops! People are sick of granite and the landfills are full of stone slabs, but a few years ago every one wanted granite!

Lovely family and I am pleased they were able to compromise their various preferences and choose a sensible house in the end. I often wonder though, about first time house buyers feeling they have to start out with everything perfect. Even appliances - if they still work, and they match the kitchen, why change them? We oldies certainly didn't when we bought our last house - our 1980s appliances are working perfectly!. In this case - stainless steel is in, and this couple, along with myriads of others, have got to have stainless steel, which in this case certainly didn't match.

Vuanita Haslam The show is scripted, they tell them to mention it all the time “ for the drama “ In fact you can only go on House Hunters if you’re already in Escrow with your new house. The others they show are just for the entertainment value. You only get paid around $750 to be on the show so I have no idea why so many people want to be on TV!

@peggypeggy4137 Жыл бұрын
I now live in Toronto but grew up near Lancaster (Mt. Gretna). Sometimes I get a little homesick to hear that "Pennsylvania Dutch" way of speaking. LOL😊 It says this is 7 years ago. It's unbelievable how much house you can get for your $$ down there. Toronto's house prices are insane (starting at 1 million American) and way too many people bidding.

@volvocub26296 жыл бұрын
What does that mean? I looked into “braces” to correct my bite. To achieve this they need to remove my lower jaw. Break it in half add a spacer, and spacers to my jaw hinge, then resew my throat back, remove about 4 teeth, add fakes and then put in braces. That was 30 years ago, and was costing $40k then. I didn’t do it... So give me a break, she is fine they way she is.
