I'm a little surprised by the feedback here because I really like how this charming home turned out. Everything is now clean and fresh, with a much more functional layout. I really like the simplicity of the black and white, and was SO relieved to see the windows, doors/handles, and arches kept. The backyard is WAY better too. In reality, not many home buyers would buy a house like this and not want to change the layout.

This is the kind of house that doesn't need to be flipped. I loved the before, but overall they did a good job. I think they should have left the fireplace tile, and not used big mirrored closet doors.

It was weird the way the furnishings are turned away from it and that they kind of 'painted it out.' Furnishings are wrong as well.

One of the most beautiful renovations in my opinion that they have done. I think the title was wrong. The only thing I would have done differently is to keep some of the cabinets in the kitchen and create a built in hutch or something.

Sometimes they do that to get more money for the house, our daughter left her washer and dryer (almost brand new) in their old house in Seattle for that reason. They got 1500 more, they were moving to Texas.

This house didn't need much, but they managed to turn it into another MODERN box. I wonder if Christina ran out of money before she got all the other crayons in her box, so the blue was out of the ordinary. She's stuck on black/grey/white, which aren't appropriate for this house.

Agreed, this n house has a certain style and a certain theme and you need to maintain that and just update it not completely change it and turn it into a sterile box. Like everything they do it's different shades of Gray with white and some black everything they do is the same color tone and this house does not fit that color tone they need to leave well enough alone. The old saying of if it's not broke don't fix it applies to this house they completely destroyed the character of the house. I would have bought this house as is and do some minor updates but after the update that they've done I think they wasted not only money but they destroyed the authenticity of the house! Tarik your taste sucks Christina stop playing with crayons and the two of you get real. OMG it's hideous!

My dad flips houses and I get nervous on historical houses because you have to find that happy medium of three, keeping historic, bringing it into slight modern era without losing originality, and finally functionality. A lot of historical houses have a lot of functionality issues.

Wow, this redo hasn't been shown in a while. It was cute before, and you could see the potential. They went outside their comfort zone and failed. The laundry needed to stay inside. The tile tacked onto the fireplace emphsizes that it is fake. The fence needed to be a different color. Soft matte browish black would have made the greenery pop. Instead they have too much glare from all the white bouncing around and the plantings look to sparce. Likely that house has a rat problem as the source of the odor.
