Definitely a HG I have to get since I like the 1/144 scale more, and the part/color separation is really good, well that and just love the Hyaku Shiki. Really love those red parts the most. Wish they put as much effort on the Zeta, especially on the wings

I first learned about Gundam when I got Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 as a kid and from that game the Hyaku Shiki has always been my favourite because of its crazy fighting style and look from the game

just bought my own hguc zeta sets hguc zeta evolution(fuck the real grade version) real grade mkii(bcuz its more of a proper revive for me and i love the RG version of this) hguc byarlant hguc dijeh hguc nemo hguc hyaku shiki(which is a hundred times better than the master grade btw) and man! im having blast on these 1/144 kits and i love zeta in general.

The MG Hyaku Shiki 2.0 is a great kit, if you haven’t tried it, you should.

I went in and meticulously hit the inside of every single red thruster with metallic blue, leaving the red outline them and it looks fantastic

Another problem with chrome plating is that there are always obvious nub marks and if you want it to look perfect, you have to remove all the chrome somehow to paint it.

Yeah. Unless everything is undergated, plated parts are basically useless.

Feels like some of the MG v2.0 Hyaku Shiki rubbed off on the HGUC Revive, the way Bandai resorted to such great color separation on something like this. I wish they'd do it more often, outside of RGs.

Where I'm from the RG 00 raiser is so cheap, only 20% more expensive than the zeta or hyaku shiki. So you're probably overpaying if you go for 00 raiser

I’m building the Hyaku Shiki now and I was wondering about the sticker eyes. Do you plan on putting any of the other eyes on it or just leave it with the silver bit?

Not really, in the same way that a high-powered GM prototype isn't a Gundam. Hyaku-Shiki is a derivative of Delta Gundam, which, of course, is a Gundam.
