I do not understand why people do not like your videos. Your videos made me get a class 2 driver job and so far I love it. The manual handling is good to keep you in shape and it wakes you up after a long drive. I do not think is good for you to sit on your arse and drive all day even if you take your 45 min brake. awesome videos and keep up with the good work😎

I did the same job for Palmer and Harvey , delivering to shops and petrol stations . We had low roof box vans so you could get under the canopy with the wagon . I don't miss the roll cages , always heavy and you have bumpy pavement and shop doorways.

Thank you. Always a pleasure them cages aren't they lol

You're too slow at delivering. You pull up where your risk assessment says unload and go. Don't stand in the queue with customers (you're not a customer) hand the staff member the manifest to sign, go back to the truck and start unloading. You spent way too much time faffing about, member of the public comes needing to use air and you're in the delivery point, they'll have to wait or go to another petrol station. You have a 12 hour planned route, messing around as you are in this clip quickly turns it into a 15 hour shift. Even more so important if you make collections at your drops. You probably spent over an hour at this one drop to deliver three cages. This is a 10-15 minute delivery for an experienced driver. If you was on my London routes you'll be getting rescued or sleeping out with this unloading style. But of course it's inexperience and being too nice and messing around moving the truck. You would have been no impact to the air guy if you just loaded & unloaded quickly. You're checking the cage label too much as well, check it once as you load it onto the lift. You're then sure you have right cages and go. Don't rely on a non driver to guide you into positions either, he clearly couldn't fathom your truck would hit the canopy. You can't speed up the driving when it comes to HGV's (although a lot of idiots do attempt, hence the M6 northbound and M40 closures in recent days!) but you can very easily shave loads of time off at a delivery, just by being organised and moving quickly. Moving the truck here made zero difference in reality. In fact it would have been better in position #1 as it was a straight line into the store door with a nice run up with clear visibility of any cars maneuvering out of the station.
