I feel so bad for him cos there's no way back from it. Even people like Edge and Daniel Bryan managed to come back from retirement. But triple H never will. His heart attack is the kind of heart attack that's nicknamed "widowmaker" because of how deadly it is, like 99 times out of 100 the person will die from it. Kevin Smith had the same type of heart attack, and he credits his survival to the fact he was smoking weed at the time which relaxed him so that he didn't panic. He's now incredibly skinny, cos the heart attack terrified him so much he decided to finally lose all that weight. For Triple H he was already in good condition relatively, at least compared to Kevin Smith. But it's probably because of years of damage from steroid use that caused his heart attack, and that damage can't be reversed. So, can he even work out anymore? He absolutely loves bodybuilding, 2nd only to his love of pro wrestling. So if he can't work out anymore because it's too dangerous, that must have crushed him. But yeah he so deeply loves pro wrestling, he's pro wrestling's biggest nerd, and I mean that in a good way. He's the most dedicated person to the art form, and respects it so deeply. So not being able to do the odd match once a year a mania probably crushed him too. But at least now he's head booker of WWE and can use that platform to make WWE good again, and he has achieved that so far with WWE being significantly better than it has been in over 15 years, or more like 18 or 19 years to be honest. He knows so much about the business that he's the perfect booker, cos nobody has the passion for the art form of pro wrestling as Trips has.

@jack-exzolt98583 жыл бұрын
@@endangeredmexican9644 Exactly, for me Tough Enough is too pretentious. Except the Miz, the talents that came out of this show were either unprofessional or inept. Take Daniel Puder for example, who got into a REAL altercation against Kurt Angle for not selling his move, and utterly disrespecting him backstage. Ryback who can't wrestle for shit, just a big dumb oaf like Goldberg; came only expecting boring squash matches. The Miz, while he's not the best technical wrestler, he makes up for it for taking brutal bumps, selling moves, and just his overall Heel charisma and mic skills effective enough to make any rival of his look good. NXT was god-sent, some of the great talents today came out of that stomping ground. Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Kevin Owens, etc.

HHH was trained by Kowalski. You have to be a tough SOB to be able to not only take & do bumps but to do them PROPERLY. Not to mention being on the road not only in the big time but the independent scene isn't for everyone. WWF's road schedule back then would be enough to scare anyone off, hell it still is. For those that also don't know, when HHH says "You're a mile ahead of where you should be", he's talking about how they were literally handed a chance to be in the WWF right away when you have independent veterans that have been wrestling for years that would never sniff WWF/E. Not to mention all the hard work associated with independent wrestling like ring crew and school maintenance on top of taking bumps & working shows. THAT'S what he meant about being a mile ahead, a lot of guys that were 10 times better than those in the ring during this episode never got this chance. At least Harvard Chris, Maven, Nidia and Josh Matthews were able to carve out a niche at one point or another.

@@Speedyreedy1218 It's actually weird even his wife calls him Hunter. Off WWE tv. Bizarre even. Heard Big Show has a similar obsession with not being called Paul. Big Show is open about not having quite a happy childhood because of his gigantism; God knows what happened to Levesque to not dissociate himself from the character in the ring.
@Speedyreedy12183 ай бұрын
@@joaovinicius3403 Ha, because he isn't a character. Neither is Austin. They're themselves turned up. Stephanie actually interchanges between calling him both on and off TV. The first time Vince called him Paul on TV was 08. Chyna called him it after their breakup. Stephanie (on TV) said it in 2013. I recently rewatched the Chris Jericho Live podcast show when she was the first guest. She said literally, up through their engagement, she still called him Hunter. She said she made a decision to force herself to call him Paul on their wedding day since it was going to be official. It makes sense when you're heavily invested in a name/work that long relationship to keep it up unless you're at home. I've heard Show on two occasions refer to himself as Paul. One was when he was on HHH's documentary talking about his wife being the first to notice HHH and Steph were dating during the WWF invasion of SNL ahead of WrestleMania 16. Show's wife saw them making out even when the cameras weren't filming. Show told his wife, "My name is Paul. And that's between y'all. You saw it. I didn't and don't want anyone to know I know." The other time he said the same phrase was to Paige on an episode of Total Divas. HBK calls him Hunter, as did Hall as well. His other two best friends XPac and Kevin Nash regularly call him Paul. In HBK'S book, he mentioned asking HHH what he preferred being called backstage: Hunter, Paul, or something else. HBK said HHH shrugged his shoulders like he didn't care. So half the Kliq called him Paul. And HBK gave him the name "Triple H," which HHH referred to himself as for the first time on tv in a December 1995 interview with Brother Love.

His promos are fantastic and not as long as you think they are. I've binge watched 96-00 and there's been tons of promos of Rock, Linda, Vince, Regal, Foley that are near 18min. Some segments with Jericho, Austin, and Benoit as I go through the summer of 2001 as well.
